31 *And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.

8 *Good and upright is the Lord;

therefore he *instructs sinners in the way.

28 But for me it is good to *be near God;

I have made the Lord God my *refuge,

that I may *tell of all your works.

1 *It is good to give thanks to the Lord,

to sing praises to your name, *O Most High;

2 to declare your *steadfast love in *the morning,

and your *faithfulness by *night,

3 to the music of *the lute and *the harp,

to the melody of *the lyre.

5 *For the Lord is good;

his steadfast love endures forever,

and his *faithfulness to all generations.

1 Behold, how good and pleasant it is

when *brothers dwell in unity!*

2 for I give you good *precepts;

do not forsake my teaching.

23 To make an apt answer is a joy to a man,

and *a word in season, how good it is!

13 My son, *eat honey, for it is good,

and *the drippings of the honeycomb are sweet to your taste.

14 Know that wisdom is such to your soul;

if you find it, there will be *a future,

and your hope will not be cut off.

11 Wisdom is good with an inheritance,

an advantage to those who *see the sun.

25 The Lord is good to those who *wait for him,

to the soul who seeks him.

26 *It is good that one should wait quietly

for the salvation of the Lord.

8 He has told you, O man, what is good;

and *what does the Lord require of you

but to do justice, and to love kindness,*

and to *walk humbly with your God?

12 So *the law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good.

2 *Do not be conformed to this world,* but be transformed by *the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may *discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.*

16 *So do not let what you regard as good be spoken of as evil.

1 First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, 2 *for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and *dignified in every way. 3 This is good, and *it is pleasing in the sight of *God our Savior,

4 For *everything created by God is good, and *nothing is to be rejected if it is *received with thanksgiving, 5 for it is made holy *by the word of God and prayer.

17 *Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from *the Father of lights, *with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.*

50 *Salt is good, *but if the salt has lost its saltiness, how will you make it salty again? *Have salt in yourselves, and *be at peace with one another."
