31 And God saw everything that he had made and, behold, it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning, a sixth day.

8 Good and right is Yahweh;

therefore he instructs sinners in the way.

28 But as for me, the approach to God is for my good.

I have set the Lord Yahweh as my refuge,

in order to tell all your works.

Thanksgiving to Yahweh for Victory

1 It is good to give thanks to Yahweh,

and to sing praise concerning your name, O Most High;

2 to declare in the morning your loyal love

and your faithfulness in the night,

3 on the ten string, and on the harp,

with a melody on the lyre.

5 For Yahweh is good; his loyal love is forever,

and his faithfulness is from generation to generation.*

The People of God Dwell in Unity

1 Look, how good and how pleasant it is

when brothers dwell together in unity.

2 For I have given you good instruction;

do not forsake my teaching.

23 Joy belongs to a man with answers in his mouth,

and a word in its time, how good it is!

13 My child, eat honey, for it is good,

and the dripping of the honeycomb is sweet to your taste.

14 Thus know wisdom for the sake of your soul,*

if you find it, then there is a future,

and your hope will not be cut off.

11 Wisdom is good with an inheritance;

it benefits the living.*

25 Yahweh is good to those who wait on him,

to the person that seeks him.

26 It is good to wait in silence

for the salvation of Yahweh.

8 He has told you, O mortal, what is good,

and what does Yahweh ask from you

but to do justice, and to love kindness,

and to walk humbly with your God?

12 So then, the law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good.

2 And do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, so that you may approve what is the good and well-pleasing and perfect will of God.

16 Therefore do not let your good be slandered.

Instructions to Pray for All People

1 Therefore, I urge first of all that petitions, prayers, requests, and thanksgiving be made on behalf of all people, 2 on behalf of kings and all those who are in authority, in order that we may live a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. 3 This is good and acceptable before God our Savior,

4 because everything created by God is good and nothing is to be rejected if it is* received with thankfulness, 5 for it is made holy by the word of God and prayer.

17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of change.

50 Salt is good, but if the salt becomes deprived of its salt content, by what can you make it salty? Have salt among yourselves, and be at peace with one another."
