Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation nor turning shadow.(James 1:17)
God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. There was evening and there was morning, a sixth day.(Genesis 1:31)
For Yahweh is good.
His loving kindness endures forever,
his faithfulness to all generations.(Psalms 100:5)
A bondade bíblica nunca é puramente teórica; ela exige expressão ética visível.
He has shown you, O man, what is good.
What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly,
to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?(Micah 6:8)
Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.(Romans 12:2)
Good and upright is Yahweh,
therefore he will instruct sinners in the way.(Psalms 25:8)
See how good and how pleasant it is
for brothers to live together in unity!(Psalms 133:1)
Joy comes to a man with the reply of his mouth.
How good is a word at the right time!(Proverbs 15:23)
My son, eat honey, for it is good,
the droppings of the honeycomb, which are sweet to your taste;
so you shall know wisdom to be to your soul.
If you have found it, then there will be a reward:
Your hope will not be cut off.(Proverbs 24:13,14)
For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving. For it is sanctified through the word of God and prayer.(1 Timothy 4:4,5)
Yahweh is good to those who wait for him,
to the soul who seeks him.
It is good that a man should hope
and quietly wait for the salvation of Yahweh.(Lamentations 3:25,26)
But it is good for me to come close to God.
I have made the Lord Yahweh my refuge,
that I may tell of all your works.(Psalms 73:28)
It is a good thing to give thanks to Yahweh,
to sing praises to your name, Most High,
to proclaim your loving kindness in the morning,
and your faithfulness every night,
with the ten-stringed lute, with the harp,
and with the melody of the lyre.(Psalms 92:1-3)
