Buscar a Deus

Seek the Lord while he may be found;

call to him while he is near.

Seek the Lord while he may be found;

call to him while he is near.

"I was sought by those who did not ask;

I was found by those who did not seek me.

I said, ‘Here I am, here I am,’

to a nation that did not call on   my name.

He gives strength to the faint

and strengthens the powerless.

Youths may become faint and weary,

and young men stumble and fall,

but those who trust in the  Lord

will renew their strength;

they will soar on wings like eagles;

they will run and not become weary,

they will walk and not faint.

Seek the  Lord and his strength;

seek his face always.

Seek the  Lord and his strength;

seek his face always.

"As for you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father, and serve him wholeheartedly and with a willing mind,  for the Lord searches every heart and understands the intention of every thought.  If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you abandon him, he will reject you forever.

and my people, who bear my name, humble themselves, pray and seek my face, and turn from their evil ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.

So he went out to meet Asa and said to him, "Asa and all Judah and Benjamin, hear me. The Lord is with you  when you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you,  but if you abandon him, he will abandon you.

Revival under Asa

The Spirit of God came on Azariah son of Oded.  So he went out to meet Asa and said to him, "Asa and all Judah and Benjamin, hear me. The Lord is with you  when you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you,  but if you abandon him, he will abandon you.  For many years Israel has been without the true God,  without a teaching priest, and without instruction,  but when they turned to the Lord God of Israel in their distress and sought him, he was found by them. In those times there was no peace for those who went about their daily activities because the residents of the lands had many conflicts. Nation was crushed by nation and city by city, for God troubled them with every possible distress. But as for you, be strong; don’t give up,  for your work has a reward."

When Asa heard these words and the prophecy of Azariah son of Oded the prophet, he took courage and removed the abhorrent idols from the whole land of Judah and Benjamin and from the cities he had captured in the hill country of Ephraim.  He renovated the altar of the Lord that was in front of the portico of the Lord’s temple.  Then he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, as well as those from the tribes of Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon who were residing among them, for they had defected to him from Israel in great numbers when they saw that the Lord his God was with him.

They were gathered in Jerusalem in the third month of the fifteenth year of Asa’s reign. At that time they sacrificed to the Lord seven hundred cattle and seven thousand sheep and goats from all the plunder they had brought.  Then they entered into a covenant to seek the Lord God of their ancestors with all their heart and all their soul.  Whoever would not seek the Lord God of Israel would be put to death, young or old,  man or woman.  They took an oath to the Lord in a loud voice, with shouting, with trumpets, and with rams’ horns. All Judah rejoiced over the oath, for they had sworn it wholeheartedly. They had sought him with all sincerity, and he was found by them.  So the Lord gave them rest on every side.

King Asa  also removed Maacah, his grandmother,  , from being queen mother because she had made an obscene image of Asherah. Asa chopped down her obscene image, then crushed it and burned it in the Kidron Valley.  The high places were not taken away from Israel; nevertheless, Asa was wholeheartedly devoted his entire life.  He brought his father’s consecrated gifts and his own consecrated gifts into God’s temple: silver, gold, and utensils.

There was no war until the thirty-fifth year of Asa’s reign.

De todo o coração

Buscar-me-eis e me achareis quando me buscardes de todo o coração. O Senhor é bom para os que o buscam.

You will seek me  and find me when you search for me with all your heart.

You will seek me  and find me when you search for me with all your heart.

"Is not my word like fire" — this is the Lord’s declaration — "and like a hammer that pulverizes rock?

But from there, you will search for the Lord your God, and you will find him when you seek him with all your heart and all your soul.

Happy are those who keep his decrees

and seek him with all their heart.

Happy are those who keep his decrees

and seek him with all their heart.

I have sought you with all my heart;

don’t let me wander from your commands.

I am weary  from grief;

strengthen me through your word.

I will walk freely in an open place

because I study your precepts.

Seek the  Lord and his strength;

seek his face always.

Seek the  Lord and his strength;

seek his face always.

My heart says this about you:

"Seek  his face."

Lord, I will seek your face.

God, you are my God; I eagerly seek you.

I thirst for you;

my body faints for you

in a land that is dry, desolate, and without water.

Buscar e encontrar

Pedi e dar-se-vos-á. O Senhor está perto de todos os que o invocam em verdade. Quem o busca não ficará insatisfeito.

"Ask,and it will be given to you.Seek, and you will find. Knock, and the doorwill be opened to you.

"SoI say to you, ask,and it will be given to you. Seek,and you will find. Knock,and the door will be opened to you.For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

"SoI say to you, ask,and it will be given to you. Seek,and you will find. Knock,and the door will be opened to you.

"But seek his kingdom,and these things will be provided for you.

For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save the lost."

Those who know your name trust in you

because you have not abandoned

those who seek you, Lord

Those who know your name trust in you

because you have not abandoned

those who seek you, Lord

I sought the Lord, and he answered me

and rescued me from all my fears.

Young lions  lack food and go hungry,

but those who seek the  Lord

will not lack any good thing.

Take delight in the  Lord,

and he will give you your heart’s desires.

The Lord looks down from heaven on the human race  ,

to see if there is one who is wise,

one who seeks God.

Lord, you have searched me and known me.

You know when I sit down and when I stand up;

you understand my thoughts from far away.

He will receive blessing from the  Lord

and righteousness  from the God of his salvation.

Such is the generation of those who inquire of him,

who seek the face of the God of Jacob.  ,Selah

Força na busca

Buscai o bem e não o mal. Sede fortalecidos no Senhor. A busca por Deus traz renovação e plenitude de vida.

For the Lord says to the house of Israel:

Seek me and live!

For the Lord says to the house of Israel:

Seek me and live!

Pursue good and not evil

so that you may live,

and the Lord, the God of Armies,

will be with you

as you have claimed.

I pray that he may grant you, according to the riches  of his glory,  to be strengthened with power  in your inner being  through his Spirit,

Finally, be strengthened by the Lord and by his vast strength.

being strengthened  with all power,  according to his glorious  might, so that you may have great endurance and patience, joyfully

For God has not given us a spirit of fear,  but one of power,  , love,  and sound judgment.

Now without faith it is impossible to please God, since the one who draws near to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

Now without faith it is impossible to please God, since the one who draws near to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

May the Lord reward you for what you have done,  and may you receive a full reward from the Lord God of Israel, under whose wings you have come for refuge."

the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully on  him, and he tore the lion apart with his bare hands as he might have torn a young goat. But he did not tell his father or mother what he had done.

He called out to the Lord, "Lord God, please remember me.  Strengthen me, God, just once more. With one act of vengeance, let me pay back the Philistines for my two eyes."

It is better to take refuge in the  Lord

than to trust in humanity.

It is better to take refuge in the  Lord

than to trust in nobles.

A man who finds a wife finds a good thing

and obtains favor from the  Lord

realize that wisdom is the same for you.

If you find it, you will have a future,

and your hope will never fade.
