A Bíblia não trata o casamento como um romance sem conflitos, mas como uma aliança prática para enfrentar a rotina, o cansaço e a vida a dois. Quando a correria afasta o casal, a Palavra lembra que vocês estão no mesmo barco para serem apoio e refúgio mútuo.
Then the Lord God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him."(Genesis 2:18)
Lembra que você não precisa carregar todas as pressões sozinho: o outro foi colocado ao seu lado para somar forças onde você não alcança.
Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor;(Ecclesiastes 4:9)
Mostra que dividir as responsabilidades da semana não divide as forças, mas multiplica a segurança de não cair pelo caminho.

Paciência e perdão na rotina difícil
Love is patient, love is kind, it is not jealous; love does not brag, it is not arrogant. It does not act disgracefully, it does not seek its own benefit; it is not provoked, does not keep an account of a wrong suffered,it does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; it keeps every confidence, it believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.(1 Corinthians 13:4-7)
Desarma a vontade de vencer a discussão e convida você a respirar fundo antes de soltar uma palavra dura.
All bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and slander must be removed from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.(Ephesians 4:31,32)

Cuidado mútuo para proteger o lar
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her,(Ephesians 5:25)
Muda a postura de cobrar cobranças para a disposição concreta de servir, proteger e fazer o outro se sentir seguro.
But if it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served, which were beyond the Euphrates River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."(Joshua 24:15)
