Casamento
18 And the LORD God said, [It is] not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a help meet for him.
21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept; and he took one of his sides and closed up the flesh in its place;22 and the LORD God built [that] which he had taken from the side of the man into a woman and brought her unto the man.23 And the man said, This [is] now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman because she was taken out of Man.24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother and shall cleave unto his wife; and they shall be one flesh.
24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother and shall cleave unto his wife; and they shall be one flesh.25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.:
24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother and shall cleave unto his wife; and they shall be one flesh.
22 and the LORD God built [that] which he had taken from the side of the man into a woman and brought her unto the man.23 And the man said, This [is] now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman because she was taken out of Man.24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother and shall cleave unto his wife; and they shall be one flesh.
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air and over the beasts and over all the earth and over every serpent that moves upon the earth.27 So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air and over every beast that moves upon the earth.
1 And the man knew Eve his wife, and she conceived and bore Cain and said, I have gained a man by the LORD.25 And Adam knew his wife again, and she bore a son and called his name Seth; for God, [said she], has appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.
Fidelidade conjugal
O que Deus ajuntou não separe o homem. O casamento deve ser honrado e o leito matrimonial preservado sem impureza.
6 Therefore they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.
4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he who made [them] at the beginning made them male and female?5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother and shall be joined to his wife, and they shall be two in one flesh.6 Therefore they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.
5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother and shall be joined to his wife, and they shall be two in one flesh.6 Therefore they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.
31 It was also said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a bill of divorce;32 but I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, except for the cause of fornication, causes her to commit adultery; and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced commits adultery.
27 Ye have heard that it was said to the ancients, Thou shalt not commit adultery;28 but I say unto you, That whosoever looks on a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.
4 And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorce and to put [her] away.5 And Jesus answered and said unto them, For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this commandment.6 But at the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and his mother and shall join to his wife;8 and they that [were] two shall be made one flesh, so then they are no longer two, but one flesh.9 Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.
12 And if the woman shall put away her husband and be married to another, she commits adultery.
4 Let Marriage [be] honourable in all and the bed undefiled; but the fornicators and adulterers God will judge.
4 Let Marriage [be] honourable in all and the bed undefiled; but the fornicators and adulterers God will judge.
4 Let Marriage [be] honourable in all and the bed undefiled; but the fornicators and adulterers God will judge.
Amor como Cristo
Maridos, amai vossas mulheres como Cristo amou a igreja. O amor conjugal reflete o evangelho em ação.
25 Husbands, love your wives even as the Christ also loved the church and gave himself for her,26 that he might sanctify and cleanse her in the washing of water by the word,
25 Husbands, love your wives even as the Christ also loved the church and gave himself for her,26 that he might sanctify and cleanse her in the washing of water by the word,27 that he might present her glorious for himself, a church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.
25 Husbands, love your wives even as the Christ also loved the church and gave himself for her,26 that he might sanctify and cleanse her in the washing of water by the word,27 that he might present her glorious for himself, a church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.28 So ought husbands to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loves his wife loves himself.29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it even as the Lord with his church:30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
28 So ought husbands to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loves his wife loves himself.
28 So ought husbands to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loves his wife loves himself.29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it even as the Lord with his church:30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husband, as unto the Lord.23 For the husband is the head of the wife even as the Christ is head of the church, and it is he who gives saving health to the body.24 Therefore, as the church is subject unto the Christ, so [let] the wives [be] to their own husbands in everything.
22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husband, as unto the Lord.23 For the husband is the head of the wife even as the Christ is head of the church, and it is he who gives saving health to the body.

31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother and shall be joined unto his wife, and they shall be two in one flesh.
33 Nevertheless, let each one of you do likewise, let each one so love his wife even as himself, and let the wife [see] that she reverences [her] husband.:
33 Nevertheless, let each one of you do likewise, let each one so love his wife even as himself, and let the wife [see] that she reverences [her] husband.:
3 But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not be once named among you as becomes saints,
Submissão e respeito
Mulheres, sujeitem-se aos próprios maridos. Maridos, convivam com as esposas com conhecimento e honra.
18 Wives, be subject to your own husbands as it is fit in the Lord.19 Husbands, love [your] wives and do not be bitter against them.
14 And above all these things [put on] charity, which is the bond of perfection.15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, into which likewise ye are called into one body, and be ye thankful.16 Let the word of the Christ dwell in you in abundance in all wisdom, teaching you and exhorting you one to another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with grace singing in your hearts unto the Lord.17 And whatever ye do whether in word or deed, [do] all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to the God and Father by him.
14 And above all these things [put on] charity, which is the bond of perfection.
5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth: fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil lust, and covetousness, which is idolatry;
7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with [them] wisely, giving honour unto the woman, as unto a more fragile vessel and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers not be hindered.
7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with [them] wisely, giving honour unto the woman, as unto a more fragile vessel and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers not be hindered.
Pureza no casamento
Não adulterarás. A impureza sexual destrói alianças e famílias. Deus chama à santidade no matrimônio.
14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.
17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that [is] thy neighbour's.
2 Nevertheless, [to avoid] fornication, let every [man] have his own wife, and let every [woman] have her own husband.
3 Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence, and likewise also the wife unto the husband.4 The wife does not have authority of her own body, but the husband; and likewise also the husband does not have authority of his own body, but the wife.
3 Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence, and likewise also the wife unto the husband.4 The wife does not have authority of her own body, but the husband; and likewise also the husband does not have authority of his own body, but the wife.5 Do not defraud one another, except [it be] with [mutual] consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer and come together again, that Satan not tempt you for your incontinency.
8 I say, therefore, to the unmarried [men] and widowers, It is good for them if they abide even as I.9 But if they do not have [the gift of] continence, let them marry, for it is better to marry than to burn.10 And unto the married I command, [yet] not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife separate from [her] husband;11 and if she separates, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to [her] husband, and let not the husband put away [his] wife.
14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband; otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy.
32 But I would have you without worry. He that is unmarried cares for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord;33 but he that is married cares for the things that are of the world, how he may please [his] wife.34 There is [a] difference [also] between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried [woman] cares for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit; but she that is married cares for the things of the world, how she may please [her] husband.
39 The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband lives; but if her husband dies, she is free [and may] be married to whom she will, if it is in the Lord.
1 Now concerning the things of which ye wrote unto me: [It is] good for a man not to touch a woman.2 Nevertheless, [to avoid] fornication, let every [man] have his own wife, and let every [woman] have her own husband.
18 Flee fornication. Any [other] sin that a man does is outside the body, but he that commits fornication sins against his own body.19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit [who is] in you, whom ye have of God, and that ye are not your own?20 For ye are bought with a price, therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.:
13 Foods [are] for the belly, and the belly for foods; but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body [is] not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.14 And God, who raised up the Lord, will also raise up us by his own power.
9 Know ye not that the unjust shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not err: neither fornicators nor idolaters nor adulterers nor effeminate nor homosexuals10 nor thieves nor covetous nor drunkards nor revilers nor extortioners shall inherit the kingdom of God.
4 Charity suffers long [and] is benign; charity envies not; charity does [nothing] without due reason, is not puffed up,5 is not injurious, seeks not her own, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil,6 rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
13 Is the Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized into the name of Paul?14 I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius,15 lest any should say that [ye were] baptized into my name.16 And I baptized also the household of Stephanas; besides, I know not whether I baptized any other.17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not with wisdom of words, lest the stake of Christ should be made void.
1 It is reported commonly [that there is] fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.2 And ye are puffed up and have not rather mourned, that he that has done this deed might be taken away from among you.

14 House and riches [are] the inheritance from fathers, but the prudent wife [is] from the LORD.
18 Thy fountain shall be blessed; and rejoice with the wife of thy youth.19 [Let her be as] the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love, [without eyes for anyone else].
3 For the lips of the strange [woman] drop [as] a honeycomb, and her mouth [is] smoother than oil,4 But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a twoedged sword.5 Her feet go down to death, her steps uphold Sheol,6 lest thou should ponder the path of life, her ways are unstable; thou shalt not know them.7 Hear me now therefore, O ye sons, and do not depart from the words of my mouth.8 Remove thy way far from her, and do not come near the door of her house,9 lest thou give thine honour unto others and thy years unto the cruel,
3 For the lips of the strange [woman] drop [as] a honeycomb, and her mouth [is] smoother than oil,4 But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a twoedged sword.5 Her feet go down to death, her steps uphold Sheol,6 lest thou should ponder the path of life, her ways are unstable; thou shalt not know them.
8 Remove thy way far from her, and do not come near the door of her house,9 lest thou give thine honour unto others and thy years unto the cruel,10 lest strangers be filled with thy wealth, and thy labours [be] in the house of a stranger,11 and thou mourn at the last when thy flesh and thy body are consumed12 and say, How have I hated chastening and my heart despised reproof13 and have not obeyed the voice of those who chastened me, nor inclined my ear to those that instructed me!14 I have been in almost every [kind of] evil, in the midst of society and of the congregation.
19 [Let her be as] the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love, [without eyes for anyone else].20 And why wilt thou, my son, be ravished with a woman belonging to someone else, and embrace the bosom of a stranger?
29 So [is] he that goes in to his neighbour's wife; whosoever touches her shall not be innocent.
32 [But] whosoever commits adultery with a woman [has a] fault in [his] heart; he [that] does it corrupts his own soul.
32 [But] whosoever commits adultery with a woman [has a] fault in [his] heart; he [that] does it corrupts his own soul.33 A wound and dishonour shall he get, and his reproach shall never be wiped away.34 For the jealous rage of a man will not spare in the day of vengeance.35 He will not regard any ransom; neither will he want to forgive, though thou givest many bribes.:
4 The virtuous woman [is] a crown to her husband, but she that makes ashamed [is] as rottenness in his bones.
9 The heart of man devises his way, but the LORD directs his steps.
9 [It is] better to dwell in a corner of the housetop than with a brawling woman in a wide house.
10 [Aleph] Who can find a valiant woman? for her price [is] far above precious stones.
Bíblia e casamento
Deus abomina o divórcio. A aliança matrimonial é reflexo da aliança de Deus com seu povo — sagrada e eterna.
15 And did he not make one, having in himself abundance of [the] Spirit? And why one? That he might seek offspring of God. Therefore take heed to your spirit and let no one deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.16 He that rejects her, sending her away, said the LORD God of Israel, covers the violence with his garment, said the LORD of the hosts; therefore take heed in your spirit, and do not be treacherous.
14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers, for what fellowship does righteousness have with unrighteousness? and what communion does light have with darkness?
3 For the will of God is your sanctification, that ye should separate [yourselves] from fornication,4 that every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honesty,5 not with affection of lust, as the Gentiles who do not know God,
15 See that no one renders evil for evil unto anyone, but always follow that which is good, both among yourselves and to all [men].

2 It is expedient, therefore, that the bishop be blameless, the husband of [only] one wife, vigilant, temperate, of [worldly] affections mortified, given to hospitality, apt to teach;12 Let the deacons be the husbands of [only] one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.
6 He who is blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children who can not be accused of dissoluteness, nor insubordinate.
5 When a man has taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war, neither shall he be charged with any business; [but] he shall be free at home one year and shall cheer up his wife whom he has taken.
1 When a man has taken a wife and married her, and it comes to pass that she finds no favour in his eyes because he has found some indecency in her; then let him write her a bill of divorce and give [it] in her hand and send her out of his house.
13 When any man takes a wife and after having gone in unto her, hates her14 and gives occasions of speech against her and brings up an evil name upon her and says, I took this woman, and when I came to her, I found her not a virgin,15 then shall the father of the damsel and her mother take and bring forth [the tokens of] the damsel's virginity unto the elders of the city in the gate.16 And the damsel's father shall say unto the elders, I gave my daughter unto this man to wife, and he hates her;17 and, behold, he has given occasions of speech [against her], saying, I found not thy daughter a virgin; and yet these [are the tokens of] my daughter's virginity. And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city.
8 The nakedness of thy father's wife thou shalt not uncover; it [is thy father's nakedness.20 Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour's wife, contaminating thyself with her.
10 And the man that commits adultery with [another] man's wife, [he] that commits adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely die.13 If a man shall join himself with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood [shall be] upon them.
7 They shall not take a wife [that is] a whore or profane; neither shall they take a woman put away from her husband; for he [is] holy unto his God.
13 And he shall take a wife in her virginity.14 A widow or a divorced woman or profane [or] a harlot, these he shall not take, but he shall take a virgin of his own people to wife.

6 Set me as a seal upon thine heart as a sign upon thine arm; for love [is] strong as death; jealousy [is] hard as Sheol; the coals thereof [are] coals of fire, [which have a] most vehement flame.7 The many waters cannot quench love, neither can the rivers drown it; if [a] man would give all the substance of his house for this love, it would certainly be despised.

9 Two [are] better than one because they have a better reward for their labour.10 For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him [that is] alone when he falls, for [he has] not another to help him up.11 Again, if two sleep together, then they have heat, but how can one be warm [alone]?12 And if one prevails against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
