Casamento

And YHWH God says, "[It is] not good for the man to be alone; I make him a helper as his counterpart."

And YHWH God causes a deep sleep to fall on the man, and he sleeps, and He takes one of his ribs, and closes up flesh in its stead. And YHWH God builds up the rib which He has taken out of the man into a woman, and brings her to the man; and the man says, "This at last! Bone of my bone, and flesh of my flesh!" For this is called Woman, for this has been taken from Man; therefore a man leaves his father and his mother, and has cleaved to his wife, and they have become one flesh.

therefore a man leaves his father and his mother, and has cleaved to his wife, and they have become one flesh. And both of them are naked, the man and his wife, and they are not ashamed of themselves.

therefore a man leaves his father and his mother, and has cleaved to his wife, and they have become one flesh.

And God says, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness, and let them rule over [the] fish of the sea, and over [the] bird of the heavens, and over livestock, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that is creeping on the earth." And God creates the man in His image; in the image of God He created him, a male and a female He created them. And God blesses them, and God says to them, "Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it, and rule over [the] fish of the sea, and over [the] bird of the heavens, and over every living thing that is creeping on the earth."

And the man knew his wife Eve, and she conceives and bears Cain, and says, "I have acquired a man by YHWH"; And Adam again knows his wife, and she bears a son, and calls his name Seth, "for God has appointed for me another seed instead of Abel": for Cain had slain him.

Fidelidade conjugal

O que Deus ajuntou não separe o homem. O casamento deve ser honrado e o leito matrimonial preservado sem impureza.

So that they are no longer two, but one flesh; what therefore God joined together, let no man separate."

And He answering said to them, "Did you not read that He who made [them] from the beginning, made them a male and a female, and said, For this cause will a man leave father and mother, and cleave to his wife, and they will bethe twofor one flesh? So that they are no longer two, but one flesh; what therefore God joined together, let no man separate."

and said, For this cause will a man leave father and mother, and cleave to his wife, and they will bethe twofor one flesh? So that they are no longer two, but one flesh; what therefore God joined together, let no man separate."

And it was said that, Whoever may put away his wife, let him give to her a writing of divorce; but I say to you that whoever may put away his wife, except for the matter of whoredom, makes her to commit adultery; and whoever may marry her who has been put away commits adultery.

You heard that it was said to the ancients: You will not commit adultery; but I say to you that everyone who is looking on a woman to desire her, already committed adultery with her in his heart.

And they said, "Moses permitted to write a bill of divorce, and to put away." And Jesus answering said to them, "For the stiffness of your heart he wrote you this command, but from the beginning of the creation God made them a male and a female; on this account will a man leave his father and mother, and will cleave to his wife, and they will bethe twofor one flesh, so that they are no longer two, but one flesh; what God therefore joined together, do not let man separate."

and if a woman may put away her husband, and is married to another, she commits adultery."

The marriage [is to be] honored by all, and the bed undefiled, for God will judge whoremongers and adulterers.

The marriage [is to be] honored by all, and the bed undefiled, for God will judge whoremongers and adulterers.

The marriage [is to be] honored by all, and the bed undefiled, for God will judge whoremongers and adulterers.

Amor como Cristo

Maridos, amai vossas mulheres como Cristo amou a igreja. O amor conjugal reflete o evangelho em ação.

The husbands: love your own wives, as the Christ also loved the Assembly, and gave Himself for it, that He might sanctify it, having cleansed [it] with the bathing of the water in the saying,

The husbands: love your own wives, as the Christ also loved the Assembly, and gave Himself for it, that He might sanctify it, having cleansed [it] with the bathing of the water in the saying, that He might present the Assembly to Himself in glory, having no spot or wrinkle, or any of such things, but that it may be holy and unblemished;

so ought the husbands to love their own wives as their own bodies: he who is loving his own wifehe loves himself;

The wives: [subject yourselves] to your own husbands, as to the LORD, because the husband is head of the wife, as also the Christ [is] head of the Assembly, and He is Savior of the body, but even as the Assembly is subject to Christ, so also [are] the wives [subject] to their own husbands in everything.

but you also, everyone in particularlet each so love his own wife as himself, and the wifethat she may revere the husband.

and whoredom, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, do not let it even be named among you, as is proper to holy ones;

Submissão e respeito

Mulheres, sujeitem-se aos próprios maridos. Maridos, convivam com as esposas com conhecimento e honra.

The wives: be subject to your own husbands, as is fit in the LORD; the husbands: love your wives, and do not be bitter with them;

and above all these things, [have] love, which is a bond of the perfection, and let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which you were also called in one body, and become thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing each other, in psalms, and hymns, and spiritual songs, in grace singing in your hearts to the LORD; and all, whatever you may do in word or in work, [do] all things in the Name of the Lord Jesusgiving thanks to the God and Father, through Him.

and above all these things, [have] love, which is a bond of the perfection,

Put to death, then, your members that [are] on the earthwhoredom, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and the covetousness, which is idolatry

Pureza no casamento

Não adulterarás. A impureza sexual destrói alianças e famílias. Deus chama à santidade no matrimônio.

You do not commit adultery.

You do not desire the house of your neighbor, you do not desire the wife of your neighbor, or his manservant, or his handmaid, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything which [is] your neighbor’s."

and because of the whoredom let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her proper husband;

to the wife let the husband render the due benevolence, and in like manner also the wife to the husband; the wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband; and in like manner also, the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife.

to the wife let the husband render the due benevolence, and in like manner also the wife to the husband; the wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband; and in like manner also, the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife. Do not defraud one another, except by consent for a time, that you may be free for fasting and prayer, and again may come together, that Satan may not tempt you because of your self-indulgence;

to the wife let the husband render the due benevolence, and in like manner also the wife to the husband; the wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband; and in like manner also, the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife. Do not defraud one another, except by consent for a time, that you may be free for fasting and prayer, and again may come together, that Satan may not tempt you because of your self-indulgence;

And I say to the unmarried and to the widows: it is good for them if they may remain even as I [am]; and if they do not have continencelet them marry, for it is better to marry than to burn; and to the married I announcenot I, but the LORDdo not let a wife separate from a husband: but, and if she may separate, let her remain unmarried, or let her be reconciled to the husband, and do not let a husband send a wife away.

for the unbelieving husband has been sanctified in the wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified in the husband; otherwise your children are unclean, but now they are holy.

And I wish you to be without anxiety; the unmarried is anxious for the things of the LORD, how he will please the LORD; and the married is anxious for the things of the world, how he will please the wife. The wife and the virgin have been distinguished: the unmarried is anxious for the things of the LORD, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit, and the married is anxious for the things of the world, how she will please the husband.

A wife has been bound by law [for] as long [a] time as her husband may live, and if her husband may sleep, she is free to be married to whom she willonly in the LORD;

And concerning the things of which you wrote to me: [it is] good for a man not to touch a woman, and because of the whoredom let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her proper husband;

flee the whoredom; every sinwhatever a man may commitis outside the body, and he who is committing whoredom sins against his own body. Have you not known that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit in you, which you have from God? And you are not your own, for you were bought with a price; glorify, then, God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

the meats [are] for the belly, and the belly for the meats. And God will make useless both this and these; and the body [is] not for whoredom, but for the LORD, and the LORD for the body; and God raised both the LORD, and will raise us up through His power.

Have you not known that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Do not be led astray; neither whoremongers, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, will inherit the Kingdom of God.

Love is long-suffering, it is kind, love does not envy, love does not vaunt itself, is not puffed up, does not act unseemly, does not seek its own things, is not provoked, does not impute evil, [does] not rejoice over unrighteousness, and rejoices with the truth; it bears all things, it believes all, it hopes all, it endures all.

Has the Christ been divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you immersed into the name of Paul? I give thanks to God that I immersed no one of you, except Crispus and Gaiusthat no one may say that to my own name I immersed; and I also immersed Stephanashouseholdfurther, I have not known if I immersed any other. For Christ did not send me to immerse, but to proclaim good news, not in wisdom of discourse, that the Cross of the Christ may not be made of no effect;

Whoredom is actually heard of among you, and such whoredom as is not even named among the nationsas that one has the wife of the father! And you are having been puffed up, and did not rather mourn, that he may be removed out of the midst of you who did this work,

Sabedoria conjugal

Acha esposa, acha o bem. Bebe água da tua própria cisterna. A fidelidade conjugal é fonte de bênção permanente.

[Whoever] has found a wife has found good, || And brings out goodwill from YHWH.

[Whoever] has found a wife has found good, || And brings out goodwill from YHWH.

[Whoever] has found a wife has found good, || And brings out goodwill from YHWH.

House and wealth [are] the inheritance of fathers, || And an understanding wife [is] from YHWH.

Let your fountain be blessed, || And rejoice because of the wife of your youth, A doe of loves, and a roe of grace! Let her loves satisfy you at all times, || Magnify yourself in her love continually.

For the lips of a strange woman drop honey, || And her mouth [is] smoother than oil, And her latter end [is] bitter as wormwood, || Sharp as a sword [with] mouths. Her feet are going down to death, || Her steps take hold of Sheol. The path of lifelest you ponder, || Her paths have movedyou do not know. And now, you sons, listen to me, || And do not turn from sayings of my mouth. Keep your way far from off her, || And do not come near to the opening of her house, Lest you give your splendor to others, || And your years to the fierce,

Keep your way far from off her, || And do not come near to the opening of her house, Lest you give your splendor to others, || And your years to the fierce, Lest strangers be filled [with] your power, || And your labors in the house of a stranger, And you have howled in your latter end, || In the consumption of your flesh and your food, And have said, "How I have hated instruction, || And my heart has despised reproof, And I have not listened to the voice of my teachers, || And have not inclined my ear to my teachers. As a little thing I have been all evil, || In the midst of an assembly and a congregation."

A doe of loves, and a roe of grace! Let her loves satisfy you at all times, || Magnify yourself in her love continually. And why do you magnify yourself, || My son, with a stranger? And embrace the bosom of a strange woman?

So [is] he who has gone in to the wife of his neighbor, || None who touches her is innocent.

He who commits adultery [with] a woman lacks heart, || He who does it is destroying his soul.

He who commits adultery [with] a woman lacks heart, || He who does it is destroying his soul. He finds a stroke and shame, || And his reproach is not wiped away, For jealousy [is] the fury of a man, || And he does not spare in a day of vengeance. He does not accept the appearance of any atonement, || Indeed, he does not consent, || Though you multiply bribes!

A virtuous woman [is] a crown to her husband, || And as rottenness in his bones [is] one causing shame.

The heart of man devises his way, || And YHWH establishes his step.

Better to sit on a corner of the roof, || Than [with] a woman of contentions and a house of company.

[ALEPH-BET] A woman of worth who finds? Indeed, her price [is] far above rubies.

Bíblia e casamento

Deus abomina o divórcio. A aliança matrimonial é reflexo da aliança de Deus com seu povo — sagrada e eterna.

And He did not make one [only], || And a remnant of the Spirit [is] for him. And what [is] the one [alone]! He is seeking a godly seed. And you have been watchful over your spirit, || And with the wife of your youth, || None deal treacherously. "For He hates sending away," said YHWH, God of Israel, || "And he [who] has covered violence with his clothing," said YHWH of Hosts, || "And you have been watchful over your spirit, || And you do not deal treacherously."

Do not become yoked with othersunbelievers, for what partaking [is there] to righteousness and lawlessness?

for this is the will of Godyour sanctification: that you abstain from the whoredom, that each of you know to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in the affection of desire, as also the nations that were not knowing God,

When a man takes a new wife, he does not go out into the host, and [one] does not pass over to him for anything; he is free at his own house [for] one year, and his wife, whom he has taken, he has made glad.

"When a man takes a wife and has married her, and it has been, if she does not find grace in his eyes (for he has found nakedness in her of anything), then he has written a writing of divorce for her, and given [it] into her hand, and sent her out of his house;

When a man takes a wife, and has gone in to her, and hated her, and laid evil deeds of words against her, and brought out an evil name against her, and said, I have taken this woman, and I draw near to her, and I have not found proofs of virginity in her; then the father of the girl, and her mother, have taken and brought out the girl’s proofs of virginity to [the] elderly of the city in the gate, and the father of the girl has said to the elderly, I have given my daughter to this man for a wife, and he hates her; and behold, he has laid evil deeds of words, saying, I have not found proofs of virginity for your daughterand these [are] the proofs of virginity of my daughter! And they have spread out the garment before [the] elderly of the city.

You do not uncover the nakedness of the wife of your father; it [is] the nakedness of your father. And you do not give your seed [from] intercourse to the wife of your fellow, to become unclean with her.

And a man who commits adultery with a man’s wifewho commits adultery with the wife of his neighborthe adulterer and the adulteress are surely put to death. O Cântico dos Cânticos celebra o amor conjugal. A Bíblia honra o casamento em toda a sua beleza e profundidade.

Set me as a seal on your heart, as a seal on your arm, || For strong as death is love, || Sharp as Sheol is jealousy, || Its burnings [are] burnings of fire, a flame of YAH! Many waters are not able to quench the love, || And floods do not wash it away. If one gives all the wealth of his house for love, || Treading downthey tread on it.

See life with the wife whom you have loved, all the days of the life of your vanity, that He has given to you under the sun, all the days of your vanity, for it [is] your portion in life, even of your labor that you are laboring at under the sun.

The two [are] better than the one, in that they have a good reward by their labor. For if they fall, the one raises up his companion, but woe to the one who falls and there is not a second to raise him up! Also, if two lie down, then they have heat, but how has one heat? And if the one strengthens himself, the two stand against him; and the threefold cord is not quickly broken.
