In my Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you.(John 14:2)

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.(Psalms 19:1,2)

Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth.(Psalms 108:5)

it is he that buildeth his chambers in the heaven, and hath founded his vault upon the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea and poureth them out upon the face of the earth; the LORD is his name.(Amos 9:6)

Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.(Jeremiah 23:24)

Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and by thy stretched out arm; there is nothing too hard for thee:(Jeremiah 32:17)

Cidadania celestial

A nossa cidadania está nos céus. Ajuntai tesouros no céu, não na terra. O céu é a pátria do cristão.

For our citizenship is in heaven; from whence also we wait for a Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:(Philippians 3:20)

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon the earth, where moth and rust doth consume, and where thieves break through and steal: but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth consume, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:(Matthew 6:19,20)

But Jesus said, Suffer the little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.(Matthew 19:14)

Jesus said unto him, If thou wouldest be perfect, go, sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.(Matthew 19:21)

Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.(Matthew 24:35)

Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are upon the earth.(Colossians 3:2)

Esperança eterna

Seremos arrebatados para encontrar o Senhor nos ares. Ainda não se manifestou o que havemos de ser — mas seremos semelhantes a Ele.

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven, with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we that are alive, that are left, shall together with them be caught up in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.(1 Thessalonians 4:16,17)

Beloved, now are we children of God, and it is not yet made manifest what we shall be. We know that, if he shall be manifested, we shall be like him; for we shall see him even as he is. And every one that hath this hope set on him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.(1 John 3:2,3)

The Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and will save me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be the glory for ever and ever. Amen.(2 Timothy 4:18)
