Céu
O céu é a morada eterna de Deus e a esperança final do cristão. A Bíblia descreve o céu como lugar de glória, alegria e comunhão perfeita com o Criador.
A morada de Deus
Na casa de meu Pai há muitas moradas. Os céus declaram a glória de Deus — e um dia habitaremos lá eternamente.
in the house of My Father are many rooms; and if not, I would have told you; I go on to prepare a place for you;
TO THE OVERSEER. A PSALM OF DAVID. The heavens [are] recounting the glory of God, || And the expanse [is] declaring the work of His hands. Day to day utters speech, || And night to night shows knowledge.
Be exalted above the heavens, O God, || And Your glory above all the earth.
Our help [is] in the Name of YHWH, || Maker of the heavens and earth!
Whom do I have in the heavens? And none have I desired in earth [besides] You.
In [the] beginning God created the heavens and the earth, and the earth was formless and void, and darkness [was] on the face of the deep, and the Spirit of God [was] fluttering on the face of the waters,
Who is building His upper chambers in the heavens; As for His troop, || On earth He has founded it, || Who is calling for the waters of the sea, || And pours them out on the face of the land, || YHWH [is] His Name.
Is anyone hidden in secret places, || And I do not see him?" A declaration of YHWH, "Do I not fill the heavens and the earth?" A declaration of YHWH.
"Aah! Lord YHWH, behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power, and by Your outstretched arm; there is nothing too wonderful for You:
Cidadania celestial
A nossa cidadania está nos céus. Ajuntai tesouros no céu, não na terra. O céu é a pátria do cristão.
For our citizenship is in the heavens, from where we also await a Savior—the Lord Jesus Christ—
Do not treasure up to yourselves treasures on the earth, where moth and rust disfigure, and where thieves break through and steal, but treasure up to yourselves treasures in Heaven, where neither moth nor rust disfigure, and where thieves do not break through nor steal,
But Jesus said, "Permit the children, and do not forbid them to come to Me, for of such is the kingdom of the heavens";
Jesus said to him, "If you will to be perfect, go away, sell what you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in Heaven, and come, follow Me."
The heaven and the earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.
mind the things above, not the things on the earth,
Esperança eterna
Seremos arrebatados para encontrar o Senhor nos ares. Ainda não se manifestou o que havemos de ser — mas seremos semelhantes a Ele.
because the LORD Himself, with a shout, with the voice of a chief-messenger, and with the trumpet of God, will come down from Heaven, and the dead in Christ will rise first; then we who are living, who are remaining over, will be snatched up together with them in [the] clouds to meet the LORD in [the] air, and so we will always be with the LORD;
Beloved, now, we are children of God, and it was not yet revealed what we will be. We have known that if He may have appeared, we will be like Him, because we will see Him as He is; and everyone who is having this hope on Him, purifies himself, even as He is pure.
and the LORD will free me from every evil work, and will save [me]—to His heavenly kingdom; to whom [is] the glory through the ages of the ages! Amen.
And He led them forth outside—to Bethany, and having lifted up His hands He blessed them, and it came to pass, in His blessing them, He was parted from them, and was carried up into Heaven;
And having said these things—they beholding—He was taken up, and a cloud received Him up from their sight;
because our wrestling is not with flesh and blood, but with the principalities, with the authorities, with the world-rulers of the darkness of this age, with the spiritual [forces] of evil in the heavenly [places];
for we brought nothing into the world—because neither are we able to carry out anything; but having food and raiment—with these we will suffice ourselves;
"For [as] high [as] the heavens have been above the earth, || So high have been My ways above your ways, || And My thoughts above your thoughts.
To everything—a season, and a time to every delight under the heavens:
As he came out from the belly of his mother, naked he turns back to go as he came, and he does not take away anything of his labor, that goes in his hand.
