8 The one who sows to please his flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; but the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.

7 Do not be deceived: God is not to be mocked. Whatever a man sows, he will reap in return.

9 Let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

10 Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your store of seed and will increase the harvest of your righteousness.

18 Peacemakers who sow in peace reap the fruit of righteousness.*

11 No discipline seems enjoyable at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it yields a harvest of righteousness and peace* to those who have been trained by it.

9 Honor the LORD with your wealth

and with the firstfruits of all your crops;

10 Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house. Test Me in this," says the LORD of Hosts. "See if I will not open the windows of heaven and pour out for you blessing without measure.*

3 If you follow My statutes and carefully keep My commandments, 4 I will give you rains in their season, and the land will yield its produce, and the trees of the field will bear their fruit.

26 Look at the birds of the air: They do not sow or reap or gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

12 The grapevine is dried up,

and the fig tree is withered;

the pomegranate, palm, and apple—

all the trees of the orchard— are withered.

Surely the joy of mankind has dried up.

17 Though the fig tree does not bud

and no fruit is on the vines,

though the olive crop fails

and the fields produce no food,

though the sheep are cut off from the fold

and no cattle are in the stalls,

18 yet I will exult in the LORD;

I will rejoice in the God of my salvation!
