9 God is faithful;  * you were called by him  * into fellowship with his Son,  * Jesus Christ our Lord.

16 Don’t you yourselves know that you are God’s temple  * and that the Spirit of God lives in you?  *

12 For just as the body is one  * and has many parts, and all the parts of that body, though many, are one body — so also is Christ.  *

16 And what agreement does the temple of God have with idols?  * For we  * are the temple of the living God, as God said:

I will dwell*

and walk among them,

and I will be their God,*

and they will be my people.*,*

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation;  * the old has passed away, and see,  * the new has  * come!  *18 Everything is from God, who has reconciled us to himself through Christ and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.  *19 That is, in Christ, God was reconciling the world  * to himself,  * not counting their trespasses against them, and he has committed the message of reconciliation to us.

20 See! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.*

3 Then I heard a loud voice  * from the throne:  *,* Look, God’s dwelling  * is with humanity, and he will live with them. They will be his peoples,  *,* and God himself will be with them and will be their God.  *

45 I will dwell  * among the Israelites and be their God.  *

20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, I am there among them."

20 "I pray not only for these, but also for those who believe in me through their word.21 May they all be one,*as you, Father, are in me and I am in you.*May they also be*in us, so that the world may believe you sent me.22 I have given them the glory*you have given me, so that they may be one as we are one.23 I am in them and you are in me,*so that they may be made completely one, that the world may know you have sent me and have loved*them as you have loved me.*

24 The one who keeps his commands remains in him,  * and he in him. And the way we know that he remains in us  * is from the Spirit  * he has given us.

20 And we know that the Son of God has come  * and has given us understanding so that we may know the true one.  * We are in the true one — that is, in his Son, Jesus Christ.  * He is the true God and eternal life.

13 This is how we know that we remain in him  * and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit.  *

7 Dear friends, let us love one another, because love is from God, and everyone who loves has been born of God  * and knows God.

3 what we have seen and heard we also declare to you, so that you may also have fellowship  * with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father  * and with his Son, Jesus Christ.

28 So now, little children, remain in him so that when he appears  * we may have confidence and not be ashamed before him at his coming.  *

1 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith,  * we have peace  * with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.  *2 We have also obtained access through him  * by faith  * into this grace in which we stand,  * and we boast  * in the hope of the glory of God.

22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed in pure water.  *

7 Therefore, submit to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.  *8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.  *
