A comunhão com os irmãos é marca da igreja verdadeira. Os cristãos primevos perseveravam na comunhão — partindo pão, orando e encorajando-se mutuamente.
Comunhão verdadeira
Perseveravam na doutrina dos apóstolos e na comunhão. A comunhão autêntica envolve amor sacrificial e acolhimento mútuo.
Then those who gladly received his word were baptized, and about three thousand souls were added on that day. And they devoted themselves to the teaching of the apostles and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
Life Among the Believers
A sense of awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done by the apostles. All who believed were together and had all things in common. They were selling their possessions and belongings, and distributing the proceeds to all, as anyone had need. Day by day as they continued meeting together with one accord in the temple courts and breaking bread from house to house, they shared food together with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.
And let us consider how to spur one another on to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

Imitating Christ’s Humility
So if there is any encouragement in Christ, if there is any comfort from love, if there is any fellowship in the Spirit, if there is any compassion or mercy, make my joy complete by adopting the same mindset, having the same love, being united in spirit, and having one purpose.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another with all wisdom as you sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to the Lord with gratitude in your hearts.
Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ has forgiven us.
You were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but serve one another in love.
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, even as you are doing.
If we say that we have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. NA28But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin.
Finally, brothers, rejoice. Be restored, be comforted, be of the same mind, and live in peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you.
I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, so you must love one another.
