A comunhão
A comunhão cristã é dom e mandamento. Juntos somos mais fortes. A Bíblia celebra a unidade dos crentes em Cristo como antecipação do céu na terra.
I in them and you in me, so that they may be completely one, in order that the world may know that you sent me and that you love them as you love me.
And now I give you a new commandment: love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. If you have love for one another, then everyone will know that you are my disciples."
All the believers continued together in close fellowship and shared their belongings with one another. They would sell their property and possessions, and distribute the money among all, according to what each one needed. Day after day they met as a group in the Temple, and they had their meals together in their homes, eating with glad and humble hearts, praising God, and enjoying the good will of all the people. And every day the Lord added to their group those who were being saved.
What we have seen and heard we announce to you also, so that you will join with us in the fellowship that we have with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.
This is how we know what love is: Christ gave his life for us. We too, then, ought to give our lives for others!
And so encourage one another and help one another, just as you are now doing.
What I mean is that both you and I will be helped at the same time, you by my faith and I by yours.
Let us not give up the habit of meeting together, as some are doing. Instead, let us encourage one another all the more, since you see that the Day of the Lord is coming nearer.
People learn from one another, just as iron sharpens iron.
Help carry one another’s burdens, and in this way you will obey the law of Christ.
So then, as often as we have the chance, we should do good to everyone, and especially to those who belong to our family in the faith.
Two are better off than one, because together they can work more effectively. If one of them falls down, the other can help him up. But if someone is alone and falls, it’s just too bad, because there is no one to help him. If it is cold, two can sleep together and stay warm, but how can you keep warm by yourself? Two people can resist an attack that would defeat one person alone. A rope made of three cords is hard to break.
