A comunidade cristã é essencial para o crescimento da fé. A Bíblia ensina que fomos criados para viver em comunhão — edificando-nos, encorajando-nos e servindo uns aos outros.
Viver em unidade
Os que creram eram um coração e uma alma. A comunidade primitiva partilhava tudo e vivia em harmonia e alegria.
And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and soul: and not one of them said that aught of the things which they possessed was his own; but they had all things common.
And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, and in the breaking of bread and the prayers.
And day by day, continuing steadfastly with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread at home, they took their food with gladness and singleness of heart, praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church day by day those that were saved.
These all with one accord continued steadfastly in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.
Peter therefore was kept in the prison: but earnest prayer was made of the church unto God for him.
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
