5 Confide in Jehovah with all thy heart, and lean not unto thine own intelligence;6 in all thy ways acknowledge him, and he will make plain thy paths.

1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.2 I say of Jehovah, My refuge and my fortress; my God, I will confide in him.3 Surely *he* shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, {and} from the destructive pestilence.4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou find refuge: his truth is a shield and buckler.

1 [A Song of degrees.] They that confide in Jehovah are as mount Zion, which cannot be moved; it abideth for ever.2 Jerusalem! -mountains are round about her, and Jehovah is round about his people, from henceforth and for evermore.

7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is fixed confiding in Jehovah;

3 Confide in Jehovah, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on faithfulness;4 and delight thyself in Jehovah, and he will give thee the desires of thy heart.5 Commit thy way unto Jehovah, and rely upon him: he will bring {it} to pass;6 and he will bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.

10 And they that know thy name will confide in thee; for thou, Jehovah, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

7 Blessed is the man that confideth in Jehovah, and whose confidence Jehovah is.8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out its roots by the stream, and he shall not see when heat cometh, but his leaf shall be green; and in the year of drought he shall not be careful, neither shall he cease to yield fruit.

4 Confide ye in Jehovah for ever; for in Jah, Jehovah, is the rock of ages.

2 Behold, *God is my salvation: I will trust, and not be afraid; for Jah, Jehovah, is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation.

12 Jehovah of hosts, blessed is the man that confideth in thee!

7 Some make mention of chariots, and some of horses, but we of the name of Jehovah our God.8 They are bowed down and fallen; but we are risen and stand upright.

8 It is better to trust in Jehovah than to put confidence in man;9 It is better to trust in Jehovah than to put confidence in nobles.

10 In God will I praise {his} word; in Jehovah will I praise {his} word.11 In God have I put my confidence: I will not fear; what can man do unto me?

5 As for me, I have confided in thy loving-kindness; my heart shall be joyful in thy salvation.

14 But I confided in thee, Jehovah; I said, thou art my God.

4 Blessed is the man that hath made Jehovah his confidence, and turneth not to the proud, and to such as turn aside to lies.

1 Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe on God, believe also on me.
