Confiar de todo coração
Confia no Senhor de todo o coração. Não te apoies em teu próprio entendimento — em todos os caminhos o reconheça.
Confide in Jehovah with all thy heart, and lean not unto thine own intelligence; in all thy ways acknowledge him, and he will make plain thy paths.
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I say of Jehovah, My refuge and my fortress; my God I will confide in him. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the destructive pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou find refuge: his truth is a shield and buckler.
They that confide in Jehovah are as mount Zion, which cannot be moved; it abideth for ever. Jerusalem! — mountains are round about her, and Jehovah is round about his people, from henceforth and for evermore.
He shall not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is fixed confiding in Jehovah;
Confide in Jehovah, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on faithfulness; and delight thyself in Jehovah, and he will give thee the desires of thy heart. Commit thy way unto Jehovah, and rely upon him: he will bring it to pass; and he will bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.
And they that know thy name will confide in thee; for thou, Jehovah, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

Bem-aventurado o homem que confia no Senhor. Ele é como árvore plantada junto às águas — não temerá quando vier o calor.
Blessed is the man that confideth in Jehovah, and whose confidence Jehovah is. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out its roots by the stream, and he shall not see when heat cometh, but his leaf shall be green; and in the year of drought he shall not be careful, neither shall he cease to yield fruit.
Confide ye in Jehovah for ever; for in Jah, Jehovah, is the rock of ages.
Behold, ·God is my salvation: I will trust, and not be afraid; for Jah, Jehovah, is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation.
Jehovah of hosts, blessed is the man that confideth in thee!
Some make mention of chariots, and some of horses, but we of the name of Jehovah our GodThey are bowed down and fallen; but we are risen and stand upright.
It is better to trust in Jehovah than to put confidence in man; It is better to trust in Jehovah than to put confidence in nobles.
Não confiar no homem
Não temas — em ti confiarei. Melhor é confiar no Senhor do que confiar no homem ou nos príncipes.
In God will I praise his word; in Jehovah will I praise his word. In God have I put my confidence: I will not fear; what can man do unto me?
As for me, I have confided in thy loving-kindness; my heart shall be joyful in thy salvation.
But I confided in thee, Jehovah; I said, thou art my God
Blessed is the man that hath made Jehovah his confidence, and turneth not to the proud, and to such as turn aside to lies.
Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe on God, believe also on me.
