If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.(1 John 1:9)
One who conceals his wrongdoings will not prosper,
But one who confesses and abandons them will find compassion.(Proverbs 28:13)
When I kept silent about my sin, my body wasted away
Through my groaning all day long.(Psalm 32:3)
I acknowledged my sin to You,
And I did not hide my guilt;
I said, "I will confess my wrongdoings to the Lord";
And You forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah(Psalm 32:5)
So it shall be when he becomes guilty of one of these things, that he shall confess that in which he has sinned.(Leviticus 5:5)
we have sinned, we have done wrong, and acted wickedly and rebelled, even turning aside from Your commandments and ordinances.(Daniel 9:5)
Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. A prayer of a righteous person, when it is brought about, can accomplish much.(James 5:16)
Come close to God and He will come close to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.(James 4:8)
Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord;(Acts 3:19)
that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;(Romans 10:9)
for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.(Romans 10:10)
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus,(Romans 3:23,24)
Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and for which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.(1 Timothy 6:12)
