So then each one of us will give account of himself to God.(Romans 14:12)
who "will pay back to everyone according to their works:" to those who by perseverance in well-doing seek for glory, honor, and incorruptibility, eternal life; but to those who are self-seeking and don’t obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, will be wrath, indignation, oppression, and anguish on every soul of man who does evil, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
But glory, honor, and peace go to every man who does good, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For there is no partiality with God.(Romans 2:6-11)
"Don’t judge, so that you won’t be judged. For with whatever judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you. (Matthew 7:1,2)
I tell you that every idle word that men speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. (Matthew 12:36)
A prudent man sees danger and hides himself;
but the simple pass on, and suffer for it.(Proverbs 22:3)
If you are wise, you are wise for yourself.
If you mock, you alone will bear it.(Proverbs 9:12)
It is a snare to a man to make a rash dedication,
then later to consider his vows.(Proverbs 20:25)
For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart. There is no creature that is hidden from his sight, but all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of him to whom we must give an account.(Hebrews 4:12,13)
Why does the wicked person condemn God,
and say in his heart, "God won’t call me into account"?
But you do see trouble and grief.
You consider it to take it into your hand.
You help the victim and the fatherless.(Psalms 10:13,14)
"If anyone sins, doing any of the things which Yahweh has commanded not to be done, though he didn’t know it, he is still guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.(Leviticus 5:17)
I will surely require accounting for your life’s blood. At the hand of every animal I will require it. At the hand of man, even at the hand of every man’s brother, I will require the life of man.(Genesis 9:5)
