16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another *Helper,*to be with you forever,

18 "I will not leave you as orphans; *I will come to you.

26 But the *Helper, the Holy Spirit, *whom the Father will send in my name, *he will teach you all things and *bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

26 "But *when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, *he will bear witness about me.

7 Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for *if I do not go away, *the Helper will not come to you. But *if *I go, *I will send him to you.

3 *Blessed be the *God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and *God of all comfort, 4 *who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

5 For as we share abundantly in *Christ’s sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too.*

5 May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you *to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus,

19 When the cares of my heart are many,

your consolations cheer my soul.

5 *Out of my distress I *called on the Lord;

the Lord answered me and set me *free.

16 *They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore;

*the sun shall not strike them,

nor any scorching heat.

17 For the Lamb in the midst of the throne *will be their shepherd,

and he will guide them to springs of *living water,

and *God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."

12 "I, I am he *who comforts you;

who are you that you are afraid of *man who dies,

of the son of man who is made *like grass,

4 "Blessed are *those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
