Aprender a estar satisfeito no dia a dia
Not that I speak as regards privation, for as to me I have learnt in those circumstances in which I am, to be satisfied in myself.(Philippians 4:11)
I know both how to be abased and I know how to abound. In everything and in all things I am initiated both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer privation.(Philippians 4:12)
But piety with contentment is great gain.(1 Timothy 6:6)
For we have brought nothing into the world: it is manifest that neither can we carry anything out. But having sustenance and covering, we will be content with these.(1 Timothy 6:7,8)
Vencer a ganância e a ansiedade
Let your conversation be without love of money, satisfied with your present circumstances; for he has said, I will not leave thee, neither will I forsake thee.(Hebrews 13:5)
And he said to them, Take heed and keep yourselves from all covetousness, for it is not because a man is in abundance that his life is in his possessions.(Luke 12:15)
For this cause I say unto you, Do not be careful about your life, what ye should eat and what ye should drink; nor for your body what ye should put on. Is not the life more than food, and the body than raiment?(Matthew 6:25)
Better is a little with righteousness, than great revenues without right.(Proverbs 16:8)
Wherefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in insults, in necessities, in persecutions, in straits, for Christ: for when I am weak, then I am powerful.(2 Corinthians 12:10)
And Job rose up, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down on the ground, and worshipped; and he said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: Jehovah gave, and Jehovah hath taken away; blessed be the name of Jehovah!(Job 1:20,21)
