Aprender a estar satisfeito no dia a dia
I do not say that in respect of want, for I learned in the things in which I am—to be content;(Philippians 4:11)
I have known both to be abased, and I have known to abound; in everything and in all things I have been initiated, both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in want.(Philippians 4:12)
but it is great gain—the piety with contentment;(1 Timothy 6:6)
for we brought nothing into the world—because neither are we able to carry out anything; but having food and raiment—with these we will suffice ourselves;(1 Timothy 6:7,8)
Vencer a ganância e a ansiedade
[Be] without covetous behavior, being content with the things present, for He has said, "No, I will not leave, no, nor forsake you,"(Hebrews 13:5)
And He said to them, "Observe, and beware of the covetousness, because his life is not in the abundance of one’s goods."(Luke 12:15)
Because of this I say to you, do not be anxious for your life, what you may eat, and what you may drink, nor for your body, what you may put on. Is not life more than nourishment, and the body than clothing?(Matthew 6:25)
Better [is] a little with righteousness, || Than abundance of increase without justice.(Proverbs 16:8)
for this reason I am well pleased in weaknesses, in damages, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses—for Christ; for whenever I may be weak, then I am powerful;(2 Corinthians 12:10)
And Job rises, and tears his robe, and shaves his head, and falls to the earth, and pays respect, and he says, "I came forth naked from the womb of my mother, || And naked I return there. YHWH has given and YHWH has taken; Let the Name of YHWH be blessed."(Job 1:20,21)
