Convicção
A convicção cristã é firmeza de fé que não se abala diante da oposição. É a certeza interior que compele a proclamar a verdade com ousadia, independentemente das consequências.
Ousadia para falar
Recebereis poder e sereis minhas testemunhas. A convicção do Espírito nos equipa para proclamar com coragem e sem vergonha.
But ye shall receive power, when the Holy Spirit is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Now when they beheld the boldness of Peter and John, and had perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.
But Peter and the apostles answered and said, We must obey God rather than men.
For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of man also shall be ashamed of him, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
Firmeza e confiança
Não temas diante dos homens. A Palavra de Deus é fogo na boca do profeta e firmeza na vida do crente.
Ye are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do men light a lamp, and put it under the bushel, but on the stand; and it shineth unto all that are in the house. Even so let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
