Bem-aventurados os puros de coração, porque verão a Deus. A pureza de coração é alvo, privilégio e busca constante do cristão que deseja contemplar a face do Senhor.

Bem-aventurados os puros de coração. A pureza interior precede toda transformação externa e abre os olhos para ver a Deus.
Blessed are the clean of heart: for they shall see God.
Neither let my enemies laugh at me: for none of them that wait on thee shall be confounded.
Let all them be confounded that act unjust things without cause. Shew, O Lord, thy ways to me, and teach me thy paths.
Direct me in thy truth, and teach me; for thou art God my Saviour; and on thee have I waited all the day long.
Behold the man that made not God his helper: But trusted in the abundance of his riches: and prevailed in his vanity.
But I, as a fruitful olive tree in the house of God, have hoped in the mercy of God for ever, yea for ever and ever.
I will praise thee for ever, because thou hast done it: and I will wait on thy name, for it is good in the sight of thy saints.
Understanding for Asaph. O God, why hast thou cast us off unto the end: why is thy wrath enkindled against the sheep of thy pasture?
Purificar-se
Todo o que tem essa esperança em Cristo se purifica. O amor procede de coração puro, boa consciência e fé sincera.
And every one that hath this hope in him, sanctifieth himself, as he also is holy.
Dearly beloved, we are now the sons of God; and it hath not yet appeared what we shall be. We know, that, when he shall appear, we shall be like to him: because we shall see him as he is. And every one that hath this hope in him, sanctifieth himself, as he also is holy.
Now the end of the commandment is charity, from a pure heart, and a good conscience, and an unfeigned faith.
But flee thou youthful desires, and pursue justice, faith, charity, and peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
And this I pray, that your charity may more and more abound in knowledge, and in all understanding: That you may approve the better things, that you may be sincere and without offence unto the day of Christ, Filled with the fruit of justice, through Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
And do ye all things without murmurings and hesitations; That you may be blameless, and sincere children of God, without reproof, in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation; among whom you shine as lights in the world. Holding forth the word of life to my glory in the day of Christ, because I have not run in vain, nor laboured in vain.
Purifying your souls in the obedience of charity, with a brotherly love, from a sincere heart love one another earnestly:
All the ways of a man are open to his eyes: the Lord is the weigher of spirits.
