Bem-aventurados os puros de coração, porque verão a Deus. A pureza de coração é alvo, privilégio e busca constante do cristão que deseja contemplar a face do Senhor.

Bem-aventurados os puros de coração. A pureza interior precede toda transformação externa e abre os olhos para ver a Deus.
Who shall ascend into the mountain of the LORD? and who shall stand in His holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not taken My name in vain, and hath not sworn deceitfully. He shall receive a blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
(51-11) Hide Thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. (51-12) Create me a clean heart, O God; and renew a stedfast spirit within me. (51-13) Cast me not away from Thy presence; and take not Thy holy spirit from me.
BOOK III A Psalm of Asaph. Surely God is good to Israel, even to such as are pure in heart.

Todo o que tem essa esperança em Cristo se purifica. O amor procede de coração puro, boa consciência e fé sincera.
All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weigheth the spirits.
