Blessed are the pure in heart,

for they shall see God.(Matthew 5:8)

Who may ascend to Yahweh’s hill?

Who may stand in his holy place?

He who has clean hands and a pure heart;

who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood,

and has not sworn deceitfully.

He shall receive a blessing from Yahweh,

righteousness from the God of his salvation.(Psalms 24:3-5)

Surely God" (Elohim). is good to Israel,

to those who are pure in heart.(Psalms 73:1)

All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes,

but Yahweh weighs the motives.(Proverbs 16:2)

Hide your face from my sins,

and blot out all of my iniquities.

Create in me a clean heart, O God.

Renew a right spirit within me.

Don’t throw me from your presence,

and don’t take your Holy Spirit from me.(Psalms 51:9-11)

But the goal of this command is love from a pure heart, a good conscience, and sincere faith,(1 Timothy 1:5)

Flee from youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.(2 Timothy 2:22)

Seeing you have purified your souls in your obedience to the truth through the Spirit in sincere brotherly affection, love one another from the heart fervently,(1 Peter 1:22)

Beloved, now we are children of God. It is not yet revealed what we will be; but we know that when he is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see him just as he is. Everyone who has this hope set on him purifies himself, even as he is pure.(1 John 3:2,3)

This I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense to the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.(Philippians 1:9-11)

Do all things without complaining and arguing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without defect in the middle of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you are seen as lights in the world, holding up the word of life, that I may have something to boast in the day of Christ that I didn’t run in vain nor labor in vain.(Philippians 2:14-16)
