Coração quebrantado

Por Bíblia Online

Deus está perto dos que têm o coração quebrantado. A Bíblia consola os aflitos: o sacrifício que Deus aceita é o espírito quebrantado e um coração contrito — jamais desprezará.

The Lord is near unto those that are of a broken heart and saves such as are of a contrite spirit.

Koph

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

He heals the broken hearted, and he binds up their wounds.

My flesh and my heart fail; the strength of my heart is that God is my portion for ever.

For thus has said the high and lofty One that inhabits eternity, whose name is The Holy One; I dwell in the high place and in holiness and with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit to cause the spirit of the humble to live and to cause the heart of the contrite ones to live.

For all these things my hand has made, by my hand has these things been, said the Lord; but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit and trembles at my word.

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me because the Lord has anointed me; he has sent me to preach good tidings unto those who are cast down; to bind up the wounds of the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those that are bound;

to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

to order in Zion those that mourn, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of the heavens.

Blessed are those that mourn, for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.

For godly sorrow works repentance to salvation, of which there is no need to repented; but the sorrow of the world works death.

For behold this same thing, that when ye were made sorry by God, what carefulness it wrought in you, what clearing of yourselves, what indignation, what fear, what vehement desire, what zeal, what vindication! In all things ye have shown yourselves to be clean in this matter.

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee; for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly, therefore, I will rather glory in my weaknesses that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
