O coração é o centro do ser humano — sede dos pensamentos, emoções e decisões. A Bíblia ensina a guardar, purificar e render o coração a Deus como oferta viva.

Sobre tudo o que se deve guardar, guarda o teu coração, porque dele procedem as fontes da vida e de toda decisão.

Cria em mim um coração puro, ó Deus. Ensina-me a contar meus dias para que tenha um coração sábio.

O the blessedness of those keeping His testimonies, || They seek Him with the whole heart.
I confess You with uprightness of heart, || In my learning the judgments of Your righteousness.
I have sought You with all my heart, || Do not let me err from Your commands.
Buscar a Deus de coração
Amarás ao Senhor teu Deus de todo o coração. A busca sincera leva ao encontro; o coração dividido leva à ruína.

Conhecer o coração
O homem olha para a aparência, mas o Senhor olha para o coração. Deus conhece os segredos mais profundos.
And YHWH says to Samuel, "Do not look at his appearance, and at the height of his stature, for I have rejected him; for [it is] not as man sees—for man looks at the eyes, and YHWH looks at the heart."

As [in] water the face [is] to face, || So the heart of man to man.

each one, according as he purposes in heart, not out of sorrow or out of necessity, for God loves a cheerful giver,
And thanks to God, that you were servants of sin, and—were obedient from the heart to the form of teaching to which you were delivered up;
in order to have established your hearts, blameless in sanctification before our God and Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His holy ones.
you may not harden your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of the temptation in the wilderness,
