Corpo é o templo de Deus
O corpo do cristão é templo de Deus. Ele habita em nós pelo Espírito Santo, fazendo do crente morada viva e sagrada do Altíssimo.
Templo do Deus vivo
Vós sois o templo do Deus vivo. Deus disse: habitarei neles e entre eles andarei. O criador mora em sua criação redimida.
We are a temple of God
Do you (pl) not know that you are a temple of God and the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; because God’s temple, which you are, is holy.
Do you not know that your bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? Because you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
Further, what agreement can a temple of God have with idols? Because you are a temple of the living God, just as God said:
"I will dwell in them and walk among them;
I will be their God and they will by my people."
So then, you are no longer strangers and aliens, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of God’s household, built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone; in whom the whole building, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord; in whom you also are being built together to become a habitation of God in spirit.

Já não sou eu quem vive, mas Cristo vive em mim. A presença de Deus no crente é privilégio e responsabilidade sagrada.
