IN THE beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Now the earth was unformed and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep; and the spirit of God hovered over the face of the waters.(Genesis 1:1,2)
By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.(Psalms 33:6)
And God blessed the seventh day, and hallowed it; because that in it He rested from all His work which God in creating had made.(Genesis 2:3)
And God said: 'Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.'(Genesis 1:26)
And God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them.(Genesis 1:27)
And the LORD God said: 'It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a help meet for him.'(Genesis 2:18)
For Thou hast made my reins; Thou hast knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks unto Thee, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; wonderful are Thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.(Psalms 139:13,14)
Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? His discernment is past searching out.(Isaiah 40:28)
Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever Thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, Thou art God.(Psalms 90:2)
O come, let us bow down and bend the knee; let us kneel before the LORD our Maker;(Psalms 95:6)
'Ah Lord GOD! behold, Thou hast made the heaven and the earth by Thy great power and by Thy outstretched arm; there is nothing too hard for Thee;(Jeremiah 32:17)
It is He that buildeth His upper chambers in the heaven, and hath founded His vault upon the earth; He that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth; The LORD is His name.(Amos 9:6)
Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker, as a potsherd with the potsherds of the earth! Shall the clay say to him that fashioned it: 'What makest thou?' Or: 'Thy work, it hath no hands'?(Isaiah 45:9)
A Song of Ascents. I will lift up mine eyes unto the mountains: from whence shall my help come? My help cometh from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.(Psalms 121:1,2)
Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.(Psalms 124:8)
This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.(Psalms 118:24)
