1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is the right thing to do.2 "Honor your father and mother." This is a very important commandment with a promise:3 "So that it may go well for you, and that you may have a long life on the earth."

We should even more submit to the Father of our spirits and live, shouldn't we?

11 No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, for those who have been trained by it, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace.

31 They answered, "Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you and your family will be saved."

22 Flee from youthful passions. Instead, pursue righteousness, faithfulness, love, and peace together with those who call on the Lord with a pure heart.
