Crianças
As crianças ocupam lugar especial no coração de Deus. A Bíblia instrui a educá-las, protegê-las e ensiná-las nos caminhos do Senhor desde cedo — formando gerações que temem a Deus.
Herança do Senhor
Os filhos são herança do Senhor. Eles são presentes de Deus — cada criança é um milagre e uma responsabilidade sagrada.
Behold, sons [are] an inheritance of YHWH, || The fruit of the womb [is] a reward.
Because our sons [are] as plants, || Becoming great in their youth, || Our daughters as hewn stones, || Polished—the likeness of a palace,
For You have possessed my reins, || You cover me in my mother’s belly. I confess You, because I have been fearfully distinguished. Your works [are] wonderful, || And my soul is knowing [it] well.
[BETH] With what does a young man purify his path? To observe—according to Your word.
[BETH] With what does a young man purify his path? To observe—according to Your word.
Come, children, listen to me, || I teach you the fear of YHWH.
Instruir as crianças
Instrui a criança no caminho em que deve andar. A educação cristã é mandamento repetido através de toda a Escritura.
Give instruction to a youth about his way, || Even when he is old he does not turn from it.
Give instruction to a youth about his way, || Even when he is old he does not turn from it.
Give instruction to a youth about his way, || Even when he is old he does not turn from it.
Folly is bound up in the heart of a youth, || The rod of discipline puts it far from him.
Folly is bound up in the heart of a youth, || The rod of discipline puts it far from him.
Whoever is sparing his rod is hating his son, || And whoever is loving him has hurried his discipline.
A wise son—the instruction of a father, || And a scorner—he has not heard rebuke.
My son! Do not forget my law, || And let your heart keep my commands, For [the] length of [your] days and years, || Life and peace they add to you.
My son! Do not forget my law, || And let your heart keep my commands,
For whom YHWH loves He reproves, || Even as a father the son He is pleased with.
And he directs me, and he says to me: "Let your heart retain my words, || Keep my commands, and live. Get wisdom, get understanding, || Do not forget, nor turn away || From the sayings of my mouth.
Disciplinar com amor
A vara e a repreensão dão sabedoria. A disciplina produz o fruto pacífico da justiça nos que são exercitados por ela.
A rod and reproof give wisdom, || And a youth let away is shaming his mother.
Do not withhold discipline from a youth, || When you strike him with a rod he does not die.
Listen to your father, who begot you, || And do not despise your mother when she has become old. Buy truth, and do not sell, || Wisdom, and instruction, and understanding,
Whoever is spoiling a father causes a mother to flee, || A son causing shame, and bringing confusion.
Better [is] the poor walking in his integrity, || Than the perverse [in] his lips—who [is] a fool.
The righteous is habitually walking in his integrity, || O the blessedness of his sons after him!
Even by his actions a youth makes himself known, || Whether his work is pure or upright.
A foolish son [is] a provocation to his father, || And bitterness to her bearing him.
Sons’ sons [are] the crown of old men, || And the glory of sons [are] their fathers.
Sons’ sons [are] the crown of old men, || And the glory of sons [are] their fathers.
A fool despises the instruction of his father, || And whoever is regarding reproof is prudent.
A wise son makes a father glad. And a foolish man is despising his mother.
Whoever is keeping the Law is an intelligent son, || And a friend of gluttons || Causes his father to blush.
Hear, my son, the instruction of your father, || And do not leave the law of your mother, For they [are] a graceful wreath to your head, || And chains to your neck.
And now, you sons, listen to me, || Indeed, blessed are they who keep my ways. Hear instruction, and be wise, and do not slight.
Obediência e promessa
Filhos, obedecei a vossos pais no Senhor. Honra a teu pai e tua mãe para que viva muito tempo sobre a terra.
The children: obey your parents in the LORD, for this is right; honor your father and mother, which is the first command with a promise, "That it may be well with you, and you may live a long time on the land."
And the fathers: do not provoke your children, but nourish them in the instruction and admonition of the LORD.
And the fathers: do not provoke your children, but nourish them in the instruction and admonition of the LORD.
Become, then, followers of God, as beloved children,
the children: obey the parents in all things, for this is well-pleasing to the LORD;
the fathers: do not distress your children, lest they be discouraged;
And these words which I am commanding you today have been on your heart, and you have repeated them to your sons, and spoken of them in your sitting in your house, and in your walking in the way, and in your lying down, and in your rising up,
and you have repeated them to your sons, and spoken of them in your sitting in your house, and in your walking in the way, and in your lying down, and in your rising up,
and you have kept His statutes and His commands which I am commanding you today, so that it is well for you, and for your sons after you, and so that you prolong days on the ground which your God YHWH is giving to you—all the days."
Observe, and you have obeyed all these words which I am commanding you, in order that it may be well with you and with your sons after you for all time, when you do that which [is] good and right in the eyes of your God YHWH.
and says to them, "Set your heart to all the words which I am testifying against you today, that you command your sons to observe to do all the words of this law, for it [is] not a vain thing for you, for it [is] your life, and by this thing you prolong days on the ground to where you are passing over the Jordan to possess it."
Crianças e o reino
Deixai vir a mim as crianças. Jesus honrou as crianças como modelo de fé e humildade para todo o seu povo.
But Jesus said, "Permit the children, and do not forbid them to come to Me, for of such is the kingdom of the heavens";
But Jesus said, "Permit the children, and do not forbid them to come to Me, for of such is the kingdom of the heavens";
At that hour the disciples came near to Jesus, saying, "Who, now, is greater in the kingdom of the heavens?" And Jesus having called near a child, set him in the midst of them, and said, "Truly I say to you, if you may not be turned and become as the children, you may not enter into the kingdom of the heavens; whoever then may humble himself as this child, he is the greater in the kingdom of the heavens.
and said, "Truly I say to you, if you may not be turned and become as the children, you may not enter into the kingdom of the heavens; whoever then may humble himself as this child, he is the greater in the kingdom of the heavens. And he who may receive one such child in My Name, receives Me,
Beware! You may not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their messengers in the heavens always behold the face of My Father who is in the heavens,
At that time Jesus answering said, "I confess to You, Father, Lord of the heavens and of the earth, that You hid these things from wise and understanding ones, and revealed them to babies.
Blessed the peacemakers—because they will be called sons of God.
And they were bringing to Him children that He might touch them, and the disciples were rebuking those bringing them, and Jesus having seen, was much displeased, and He said to them, "Permit the children to come to Me, and do not forbid them, for of such is the Kingdom of God;
And having taken a child, He set him in the midst of them, and having taken him in His arms, said to them, "Whoever may receive one of such children in My Name, receives Me, and whoever may receive Me, does not receive Me, but Him who sent Me."
and Jesus was advancing in wisdom, and in stature, and in favor with God and men.
When, therefore, they dined, Jesus says to Simon Peter, "Simon, [son] of Jonas, do you love Me more than these?" He says to Him, "Yes, Lord; You have known that I cherish You"; He says to him, "Feed My lambs."
Identidade e crescimento
Somos filhos de Deus pelo Espírito de adoção. Crescer em Cristo é amadurecer em fé, obediência e amor ao próximo.
but as many as received Him, to them He gave authority to become sons of God—to those believing in His Name,
for as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God;
for you did not receive a spirit of bondage again for fear, but you received [the] Spirit of adoption in which we cry, "Abba! Father!"
[This] One—the Spirit—testifies with our spirit, that we are children of God;
for the earnest looking out of the creation expects the revelation of the sons of God;
for you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for as many as were immersed into Christ put on Christ;
See what love the Father has given to us, that we may be called children of God; because of this the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.
Beloved, now, we are children of God, and it was not yet revealed what we will be. We have known that if He may have appeared, we will be like Him, because we will see Him as He is; and everyone who is having this hope on Him, purifies himself, even as He is pure.
I write to you, little children, because sins have been forgiven you through His Name;
Little children, guard yourselves from idols! Amen.
leading his own house well, having children in subjection with all dignity,
and if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of the household, he has denied the faith, and he is worse than an unbeliever.
and you have forgotten the exhortation that speaks fully to you as to sons, "My son, do not despise [the] discipline of [the] LORD, nor be faint, being reproved by Him, for whom the LORD loves He disciplines, and He scourges every son whom He receives"; if you endure discipline, God bears Himself to you as to sons, for who is a son whom a father does not discipline? And if you are apart from discipline, of which all have become partakers, then you are bastards, and not sons. Then, indeed, we have had fathers of our flesh, correctors, and we respected [them]; will we not much rather be subject to the Father of the spirits, and live?
and all discipline for the present, indeed, does not seem to be of joy, but of sorrow, yet afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those exercised through it.
And they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved—you and your household."
and flee the youthful lusts, and pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace, with those calling on the LORD out of a pure heart;
and the things that you heard from me through many witnesses, be committing these things to steadfast men, who will also be sufficient to teach others;
Transmitir a fé
Contaremos à geração vindoura os louvores do Senhor. O legado de fé é o maior presente que damos aos nossos filhos.
And all your sons are taught of YHWH, || And the peace of your sons [is] abundant.
And all your sons are taught of YHWH, || And the peace of your sons [is] abundant.
The living, the living, he confesses You,
"Does a woman forget her suckling, || The loved one—the son of her womb? Indeed, these forget—but I do not forget you. Behold, I have carved you on the palms of the hand, || Your walls [are] continually before Me.
And I see, and rise up, and say to the nobles, and to the prefects, and to the rest of the people, "Do not be afraid of them; remember the Lord, the great and the fearful, and fight for your brothers, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses."
And the youth Samuel is serving YHWH before Eli, and the word of YHWH has been precious in those days—there is no vision breaking forth.
I have no joy greater than these things, that I may hear of my children walking in truth.
I have no joy greater than these things, that I may hear of my children walking in truth.
We do not hide from their sons, || Recounting praises of YHWH to a later generation, || And His strength, and His wonders that He has done. And He raises up a testimony in Jacob, || And has placed a law in Israel, || That He commanded our fathers, || To make them known to their sons. So that a later generation knows, || Sons who are born, rise and recount to their sons, And place their confidence in God, || And do not forget the doings of God, || But keep His commands.
