Crianças
As crianças ocupam lugar especial no coração de Deus. A Bíblia instrui a educá-las, protegê-las e ensiná-las nos caminhos do Senhor desde cedo — formando gerações que temem a Deus.
Herança do Senhor
Os filhos são herança do Senhor. Eles são presentes de Deus — cada criança é um milagre e uma responsabilidade sagrada.
3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
12 That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace: polished: Heb. cut
13 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb.14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul well knoweth right…: Heb. greatly
9 BETH. How shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed to it according to thy word.
9 BETH. How shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed to it according to thy word.
11 Come, ye children, hearken to me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
Instruir as crianças
Instrui a criança no caminho em que deve andar. A educação cristã é mandamento repetido através de toda a Escritura.
6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Train…: or, Catechisein…: Heb. in his way

15 Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.
15 Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.
24 He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him early.
1 A wise son heareth his father’s instruction: but a scorner heareth not rebuke.
1 My son, forget not my law; but let thy heart keep my commandments:2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. long…: Heb. years of life
1 My son, forget not my law; but let thy heart keep my commandments:
12 For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.
4 He taught me also, and said to me, Let thy heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live.5 Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.
Disciplinar com amor
A vara e a repreensão dão sabedoria. A disciplina produz o fruto pacífico da justiça nos que são exercitados por ela.
15 The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame.
13 Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die.
22 Hearken to thy father that begat thee, and despise not thy mother when she is old.23 Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.
26 He that wasteth his father, and chaseth away his mother, is a son that causeth shame, and bringeth reproach.
1 Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool.
7 The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.
11 Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work is pure, and whether it is right.
25 A foolish son is a grief to his father, and bitterness to her that bore him.
6 Children’s children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children is their fathers.
6 Children’s children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children is their fathers.
5 A fool despiseth his father’s instruction: but he that regardeth reproof is prudent.
20 A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish man despiseth his mother.
7 He who keepeth the law is a wise son: but he that is a companion of gluttonous men shameth his father. is a companion…: or, feedeth gluttons
8 My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother:9 For they shall be an ornament of grace to thy head, and chains about thy neck. an…: Heb. an adding
32 Now therefore hearken to me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways.33 Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.
Obediência e promessa
Filhos, obedecei a vossos pais no Senhor. Honra a teu pai e tua mãe para que viva muito tempo sobre a terra.
1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.2 Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
1 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;
20 Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing to the Lord.
21 Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.
6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thy heart:7 And thou shalt teach them diligently to thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thy house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. teach: Heb. whet, or, sharpen
7 And thou shalt teach them diligently to thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thy house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. teach: Heb. whet, or, sharpen
40 Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may be well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the LORD thy God giveth thee, for ever.
28 Observe and hear all these words which I command thee, that it may be well with thee, and with thy children after thee for ever, when thou doest that which is good and right in the sight of the LORD thy God.
46 And he said to them, Set your hearts to all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law.47 For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life: and through this thing ye shall prolong your days in the land, where ye go over Jordan to possess it.
Crianças e o reino
Deixai vir a mim as crianças. Jesus honrou as crianças como modelo de fé e humildade para todo o seu povo.
14 But Jesus said, Permit the little children, and forbid them not, to come to me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
14 But Jesus said, Permit the little children, and forbid them not, to come to me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
1 At the same time came the disciples to Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?2 And Jesus called a little child to him, and set him in the midst of them,3 And said, Verily I say to you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.4 Whoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
3 And said, Verily I say to you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.4 Whoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.5 And whoever shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say to you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father who is in heaven.
25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them to babes.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called children of God.
13 And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them.14 But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said to them, Permit the little children to come to me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
36 And he took a child, and set him in the midst of them: and when he had taken him in his arms, he said to them,37 Whoever shall receive one of such children in my name, receiveth me: and whoever shall receive me, receiveth not me, but him that sent me.

15 So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith to him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith to him, Feed my lambs.
Identidade e crescimento
Somos filhos de Deus pelo Espírito de adoção. Crescer em Cristo é amadurecer em fé, obediência e amor ao próximo.
12 But as many as received him, to them he gave power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: power: or, the right, or, privilege
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, by which we cry, Abba, Father.
16 The Spirit himself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
19 For the earnest expectation of the creation waiteth for the revealing of the sons of God.
26 For ye are all children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
12 I write to you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake.
21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh to you as to children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked by him:6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?8 But if ye are without chastisement, of which all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh who corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection to the Father of spirits, and live?
11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness to them who are exercised by it.
31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

Contaremos à geração vindoura os louvores do Senhor. O legado de fé é o maior presente que damos aos nossos filhos.
13 And all thy children shall be taught from the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.

19 The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth.

14 And I looked, and arose, and said to the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Be ye not afraid of them: remember the Lord, who is great and terrible, and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses.
1 And the child Samuel ministered to the LORD before Eli. And the word of the LORD was rare in those days; there was no frequent vision.
4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
4 We will not hide them from their children, showing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done.5 For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children:6 That the generation to come might know them, even the children who should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children:7 That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments:
