Tomar uma decisão

Por Bíblia Online

Tomar decisões com sabedoria é um dos maiores desafios da vida. A Bíblia nos ensina a buscar a Deus em oração, na Palavra e no conselho, confiando que Ele dirige os nossos passos.

Buscar a Deus

Se algum de vós tem falta de sabedoria, peça a Deus. Ele dá generosamente e sem repreensão a todos os que pedem.

Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.

And this is the confidence that we have before Him: If we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart,

and lean not on your own understanding;

in all your ways acknowledge Him,

and He will make your paths straight.

in all your ways acknowledge Him,

and He will make your paths straight.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a future and a hope.

Conselho e direção

Onde não há conselho os planos se frustam. Toda Escritura é útil para nos guiar nas decisões da vida.

For lack of guidance, a nation falls,

but with many counselors comes deliverance.

The lot is cast into the lap,

but its every decision is from the LORD.

The Selfishness of the Unfriendly

He who isolates himself pursues selfish desires;

he rebels against all sound judgment.

A fool does not delight in understanding,

but only in airing his opinions.

With a wicked man comes contempt as well,

and shame is accompanied by disgrace.

The words of a man’s mouth are deep waters;

the fountain of wisdom is a bubbling brook.

Showing partiality to the wicked is not good,

nor is depriving the innocent of justice.

A fool’s lips bring him strife,

and his mouth invites a beating.

A fool’s mouth is his ruin,

and his lips are a snare to his soul.

The words of a gossip are like choice morsels

that go down into the inmost being.

Whoever is slothful in his work

is brother to him who destroys.

The name of the LORD is a strong tower;

the righteous run to it and are safe.

A rich man’s wealth is his fortified city;

it is like a high wall in his imagination.

Before his downfall a man’s heart is proud,

but humility comes before honor.

He who answers a matter before he hears it

this is folly and disgrace to him.

The spirit of a man can endure his sickness,

but who can survive a broken spirit?

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for instruction, for conviction, for correction, and for training in righteousness,

so that the man of God may be complete, fully equipped for every good work.

And when they came to the border of Mysia, they tried to enter Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus would not permit them.

Paul’s First Missionary Journey Begins

Now in the church at Antioch there were prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen ( who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch ), and Saul. While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, "Set apart for Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them." And after they had fasted and prayed, they laid their hands on them and sent them off.

Confiar e seguir

Seja o que for que façais, fazei tudo para a glória de Deus. O sábio ouve a Deus antes de agir.

So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all to the glory of God.

A Call to Endurance

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off every encumbrance and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with endurance the race set out for us.

One night at Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream, and God said, "Ask, and I will give it to you!"

Solomon replied, "You have shown much loving devotion to Your servant, my father David, because he walked before You in faithfulness, righteousness, and uprightness of heart. And You have maintained this loving devotion by giving him a son to sit on his throne this very day.

And now, O LORD my God, You have made Your servant king in my father David’s place. But I am only a little child, not knowing how to go out or come in. Your servant is here among the people You have chosen, a people too numerous to count or number.

Therefore give Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people and to discern between good and evil. For who is able to govern this great people of Yours?"

Now it pleased the Lord that Solomon had made this request. So God said to him, "Since you have asked for this instead of requesting long life or wealth for yourself or death for your enemies but you have asked for discernment to administer justice behold, I will do what you have asked. I will give you a wise and discerning heart, so that there will never have been another like you, nor will there ever be.

Then Job’s wife said to him, "Do you still retain your integrity? Curse God and die!"

"You speak as a foolish woman speaks," he told her. "Should we accept from God only good and not adversity?"

In all this, Job did not sin in what he said.
