Tomar uma decisão

Por Bíblia Online

Tomar decisões com sabedoria é um dos maiores desafios da vida. A Bíblia nos ensina a buscar a Deus em oração, na Palavra e no conselho, confiando que Ele dirige os nossos passos.

Buscar a Deus

Se algum de vós tem falta de sabedoria, peça a Deus. Ele dá generosamente e sem repreensão a todos os que pedem.

But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart

And do not lean on your own understanding.

In all your ways acknowledge Him,

And He will make your paths straight.

In all your ways acknowledge Him,

And He will make your paths straight.

For I know the plans that I have for you,declares the Lord, plans for prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

Conselho e direção

Onde não há conselho os planos se frustam. Toda Escritura é útil para nos guiar nas decisões da vida.

Where there is no guidance the people fall,

But in an abundance of counselors there is victory.

The lot is cast into the lap,

But its every decision is from the Lord.

Contrast of the Upright and the Wicked

One who separates himself seeks his own desire;

He quarrels against all sound wisdom.

A fool does not delight in understanding,

But in revealing his own mind.

When a wicked person comes, contempt also comes,

And with dishonor comes taunting.

The words of a person’s mouth are deep waters;

The fountain of wisdom is a bubbling brook.

To show partiality to the wicked is not good,

Nor to suppress the righteous in judgment.

A fool’s lips bring strife,

And his mouth invites beatings.

A fool’s mouth is his ruin,

And his lips are the snare of his soul.

The words of a gossiper are like dainty morsels,

And they go down into the innermost parts of the body.

He also who is lax in his work

Is a brother to him who destroys.

The name of the Lord is a strong tower;

The righteous runs into it and is safe.

A rich person’s wealth is his strong city,

And like a high wall in his own imagination.

Before destruction the heart of a person is haughty,

But humility goes before honor.

One who gives an answer before he hears,

It is foolishness and shame to him.

The spirit of a person can endure his sickness,

But as for a broken spirit, who can endure it?

All Scripture is inspired by God and beneficial for teaching, for rebuke, for correction, for training in righteousness;

so that the man or woman of God may be fully capable, equipped for every good work.

and after they came to Mysia, they were trying to go into Bithynia, and the Spirit of Jesus did not allow them;

First Missionary Journey

Now there were prophets and teachers at Antioch, in the church that was there: Barnabas, Simeon who was called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. While they were serving the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, "Set Barnabas and Saul apart for Me for the work to which I have called them." Then, when they had fasted, prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.

Confiar e seguir

Seja o que for que façais, fazei tudo para a glória de Deus. O sábio ouve a Deus antes de agir.

Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all things for the glory of God.

Jesus, the Example

Therefore, since we also have such a great cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let’s rid ourselves of every obstacle and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let’s run with endurance the race that is set before us,

In Gibeon the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream at night; and God said, "Ask what you wish Me to give you."

Solomon’s Prayer

Then Solomon said, "You have shown great faithfulness to Your servant David my father, according as he walked before You in truth, righteousness, and uprightness of heart toward You; and You have reserved for him this great faithfulness, that You have given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day. And now, Lord my God, You have made Your servant king in place of my father David, yet I am like a little boy; I do not know how to go out or come in. And Your servant is in the midst of Your people whom You have chosen, a great people who are too many to be numbered or counted. So give Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people, to discern between good and evil. For who is capable of judging this great people of Yours?"

God’s Answer

Now it was pleasing in the sight of the Lord that Solomon had asked this thing. And God said to him, "Because you have asked this thing, and have not asked for yourself a long life, nor have asked riches for yourself, nor have you asked for the lives of your enemies, but have asked for yourself discernment to understand justice, behold, I have done according to your words. Behold, I have given you a wise and discerning heart, so that there has been no one like you before you, nor shall one like you arise after you.

Then his wife said to him, "Do you still hold firm your integrity? Curse God and die!" But he said to her, "You are speaking as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we actually accept good from God but not accept adversity?" Despite all this, Job did not sin with his lips.
