Tomar uma decisão
Tomar decisões com sabedoria é um dos maiores desafios da vida. A Bíblia nos ensina a buscar a Deus em oração, na Palavra e no conselho, confiando que Ele dirige os nossos passos.
Buscar a Deus
Se algum de vós tem falta de sabedoria, peça a Deus. Ele dá generosamente e sem repreensão a todos os que pedem.
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God-The Father, that gives to all [men] liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he hears us:
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Trust in the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] with all youi heart; and lean not unto youi own understanding.
In all youi ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct youi paths.
In all youi ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct youi paths.
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Conselho e direção
Onde não há conselho os planos se frustam. Toda Escritura é útil para nos guiar nas decisões da vida.
Where no counsel [is], the people fall: but in the multitude of counselors [there is] safety.
The Lot [Covering] is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof [is] of the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate].
Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeks [and] intermeddles with all wisdom.
A fool has no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover (uncover; reveal; have first sight of) itself.
When the wicked cometh, [then] cometh also contempt, and with contempt (shame; dishonor) reproach (disgrace; shame).
The words of a man’s mouth [are as] deep waters, [and] the wellspring of wisdom [as] a flowing brook.
[It is] not good to accept the person of the wicked, to overthrow the righteous in judgment.
A fool’s lips enter into contention, and his mouth calls for strokes.
A fool’s mouth [is] his destruction, and his lips [are] the snare of his soul.
The words of a talebearer [are] as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly.
He also that is slothful in his work is brother to him that is a great waster.
The name of the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] [is] a strong tower: the righteous runs into it, and is safe.
The rich man’s wealth [is] his strong city, and as an high wall in his own conceit.
Before destruction the heart of man is arrogant (proud; lifted up), and before honour [is] humility.
He that answers a matter before he hears [it], it [is] folly and shame unto him.
The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a wounded spirit who can bear?
All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God-The Father, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof (rebuke; scolding), for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of God-The Father may be spiritually mature, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
After they were come to Mysia [land of beach trees], they assayed (attempted; tested; analyzed) to go into Bithynia: but the Spirit [Ruach] suffered them not.
Now there were in the church that was at Antioch [speedy as a chariot] certain prophets and teachers; as Bar-Nabba [son of rest], and Shim’on [he who hears] that was called Niger [black], and Lucius [light: bright: white] of Cyrene [supremacy of the bridle], and Menachem [comforter], which had been brought up with Herod [heroic] the tetrarch, and Sha’ul [desired].
As they ministered to the Lord - Kurios, and fasted, the Holy Spirit [Ruach HaKodesh] said, Separate me Bar-Nabba [son of rest] and Sha’ul [desired] for the work whereunto I have called them.
And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid [their] hands on them, they sent [them] away.
Confiar e seguir
Seja o que for que façais, fazei tudo para a glória de Deus. O sábio ouve a Deus antes de agir.
Whether therefore you2f eat, or drink, or whatsoever you2f do, do all to the glory of God-The Father.
For what reason seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which does so easily beset [us], and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
In Giv’on [Hill City] the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) appeared to Shlomo (Solomon) [peace] in a dream by night: and God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] said, Ask what I shall give youi.
And Shlomo (Solomon) [peace] said, youi have showed unto youi servant David [beloved] my father great mercy, according as he walked before youi in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with youi; and youi have kept for him this great kindness, that youi have given him a son to sit on his throne, as [it is] this day.
And now, O LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) my God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], youi have made youi servant king instead of David [beloved] my father: and I [am but] a little child: I know not [how] to go out or come in.
And youri servant [is] in the midst of youri people which youi have chosen, a great people, that cannot be numbered nor counted for multitude.
Give therefore youri servant an understanding heart to judge youri people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this youri so great a people?
And the speech pleased the Lord-Adonai [Greatest Above All Things], that Shlomo (Solomon) [peace] had asked this thing.
And God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] said unto him, Because youi have asked this thing, and have not asked for yourself long life; neither have asked riches for yourself, nor have asked the life of youri enemies; but have asked for yourself understanding to discern judgment;
Behold, I have done according to youri words: lo, I have given youi a wise and an understanding heart; so that there was none like youi before youi, neither after youi shall any arise like unto youi.
Then said his wife unto him, Do youi still retain youi integrity? curse God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], and die.
But he said unto her, youi speak as one of the foolish women speaks. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Iyov [hated] sin with his lips.
