Despedida
After saying these things, Paul knelt down and prayed with them all. There was much weeping among them all, and they threw their arms around Paul’s neck and kissed him, being especially grieved over his statement that they would see his face no more. Then they accompanied him to the ship.
After the uproar ceased, Paul summoned the disciples, said goodbye, and departed to go to Macedonia.
After spending some time there, they were sent off to the apostles in peace by the brothers.
As for us, brothers, when we were bereaved of you for a brief hour (being physically absent, but with you in our hearts), we longed with great eagerness to see you face to face.
For God is my witness that I long for you all with the affection of Jesus Christ.
Amizades profundas
Grace be with you all.
Amen.
Finally, brothers, rejoice. Be restored, be comforted, be of the same mind, and live in peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you.
Finally, brothers, rejoice. Be restored, be comforted, be of the same mind, and live in peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you. Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the saints greet you.
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
Amen.
Finally, my brothers, be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might.
Still another said, "I will follow yoʋ, Lord, but first let me say goodbye to my family." But Jesus said to him, "No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God."
