7 Beloved, let us love one another; because love is of God, and every one that loves has been begotten of God, and knows God.8 He that loves not has not known God; for God is love.

10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son a propitiation for our sins.

15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.16 And *we* have known and have believed the love which God has to us. God is love, and he that abides in love abides in God, and God in him.

19 *We* love because *he* has first loved us.

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only-begotten Son, that whosoever believes on him may not perish, but have life eternal.

8 but God commends *his* love to us, in that, we being still sinners, Christ has died for us.

4 but God, being rich in mercy, because of his great love wherewith he loved us,5 (we too being dead in offences,) has quickened us with the Christ, (ye are saved by grace,)

15 But thou, Lord, art a *God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in goodness and truth.

7 How precious is thy loving-kindness, O God! So the sons of men take refuge under the shadow of thy wings.

3 For thy loving-kindness is better than life: my lips shall praise thee.

1 Give ye thanks unto Jehovah, for he is good; for his loving-kindness {endureth} for ever:

18 Who is a *God like unto thee, that forgiveth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? He retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in loving-kindness.

11 For the rest, brethren, rejoice; be perfected; be encouraged; be of one mind; be at peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
