Deus é amor
Deus é amor — esta é a declaração mais profunda da Bíblia sobre a natureza divina. Tudo que Deus faz nasce do amor. Quem permanece no amor permanece em Deus.
A natureza de Deus
Deus é amor. Quem permanece no amor, permanece em Deus e Deus nele. Ele nos amou primeiro com amor eterno.
7 Beloved, let us love one another, because love is of God; and everyone that loves has been born of God and knows God.8 He that does not love does not know God, because God is love.
10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son [to be ]the propitiation for our sins.
15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.16 And we have come to know and believe the love which God has in us. God is love, and he that abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.
19 We love Him because He first loved us.
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
O amor de Deus revelado
Deus prova o seu amor em que Cristo morreu por nós quando ainda éramos pecadores. Seu amor é compassivo e eterno.
8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,5 even when we were dead in transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),
11 Finally brothers, farewell. Restore [yourselves,] comfort [yourselves], be in agreement, be at peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.
