So Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me and do not forbid them, for of such is the kingdom of the heavens."
How to be ‘big’ in the Kingdom
At that time the disciples approached Jesus saying, "Who then is greater in the kingdom of the heavens?" So Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said: "Assuredly I say to you, unless you change and become like little children, you will not enter the kingdom of the heavens. Therefore whoever will humble himself like this little child, he is the greater in the kingdom of the heavens.
God loves children
"See to it that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father, who is in the heavens.

‘Out of the mouth of babies and nursing infants
You have prepared praise for Yourself’?"
I tell you assuredly, whoever does not receive the Kingdom of God like a little child does will certainly not enter it." And taking them in His arms and laying His hands on them, He blessed them.
Then He took a child and stood him in their midst, and embracing him said to them, "Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me receives not only me, but the One who sent me."

Instrui a criança no caminho de Deus. Elas são herança do Senhor — presentes sagrados que devemos educar com amor.
About children
Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. "Honor your father and mother"—which is the first commandment with a promise— "that it may go well with you and you may live long on the earth."
