Dia das crianças
As crianças são preciosas aos olhos de Deus. Jesus as acolheu, abençoou e ensinou que delas é o Reino dos Céus — modelos de fé, pureza e humildade.
Jesus e as crianças
Deixai vir a mim as crianças. Jesus abraçou, abençoou e honrou as crianças como modelo de fé para os adultos.
But Jesus said, "Permit the children, and do not forbid them to come to Me, for of such is the kingdom of the heavens";
At that hour the disciples came near to Jesus, saying, "Who, now, is greater in the kingdom of the heavens?" And Jesus having called near a child, set him in the midst of them, and said, "Truly I say to you, if you may not be turned and become as the children, you may not enter into the kingdom of the heavens; whoever then may humble himself as this child, he is the greater in the kingdom of the heavens.
Beware! You may not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their messengers in the heavens always behold the face of My Father who is in the heavens,
and the chief priests and the scribes having seen the wonderful things that He did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, "Hosanna to the Son of David," were much displeased; and they said to Him, "Do You hear what these say?" And Jesus says to them, "Yes, did you never read, that, Out of the mouth of babies and sucklings You prepared praise?"
truly I say to you, whoever may not receive the Kingdom of God as a child—he may not enter into it"; and having taken them in His arms, having put [His] hands on them, He was blessing them.
And having taken a child, He set him in the midst of them, and having taken him in His arms, said to them, "Whoever may receive one of such children in My Name, receives Me, and whoever may receive Me, does not receive Me, but Him who sent Me."
Instruir e proteger
Instrui a criança no caminho de Deus. Elas são herança do Senhor — presentes sagrados que devemos educar com amor.
Give instruction to a youth about his way, || Even when he is old he does not turn from it.
And all your sons are taught of YHWH, || And the peace of your sons [is] abundant.
Behold, sons [are] an inheritance of YHWH, || The fruit of the womb [is] a reward.
the children: obey the parents in all things, for this is well-pleasing to the LORD; the fathers: do not distress your children, lest they be discouraged;
The children: obey your parents in the LORD, for this is right; honor your father and mother, which is the first command with a promise, "That it may be well with you, and you may live a long time on the land." And the fathers: do not provoke your children, but nourish them in the instruction and admonition of the LORD.
YHWH bless you and keep you; YHWH cause His face to shine on you, || And favor you; YHWH lift up His countenance on you, || And appoint for you—peace.
