Dia das crianças
As crianças são preciosas aos olhos de Deus. Jesus as acolheu, abençoou e ensinou que delas é o Reino dos Céus — modelos de fé, pureza e humildade.

Deixai vir a mim as crianças. Jesus abraçou, abençoou e honrou as crianças como modelo de fé para os adultos.
But Jesus said, "Leave the children alone, and do not forbid them to come to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
Rank in the Kingdom
At that time the disciples came to Jesus and said, "Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?" And He called a child to Himself and set him among them, and said, "Truly I say to you, unless you change and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.So whoever will humble himself like this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
"See that you do not look down on one of these little ones; for I say to you that their angels in heaven continually see the face of My Father who is in heaven.
But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the wonderful things that He had done, and the children who were shouting in the temple area, "Hosanna to the Son of David," they became indignant, and they said to Him, "Do You hear what these children are saying?" And Jesus *said to them, "Yes. Have you never read, ‘From the mouths of infants and nursing babies You have prepared praise for Yourself’?"
Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all."And He took them in His arms and began blessing them, laying His hands on them.
And He took a child and placed him among them, and taking him in His arms, He said to them, "Whoever receives one child like this in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me does not receive Me, but Him who sent Me."
Instruir e proteger
Instrui a criança no caminho de Deus. Elas são herança do Senhor — presentes sagrados que devemos educar com amor.
Train up a child in the way he should go,
Even when he grows older he will not abandon it.
"All your sons will be taught by the Lord;
And the well-being of your sons will be great.
Behold, children are a gift of the Lord,
The fruit of the womb is a reward.
Children, obey your parents in everything, for this is pleasing to the Lord. Fathers, do not antagonize your children, so that they will not become discouraged.
Children and Parents
Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother (which is the first commandment with a promise), so that it may turn out well for you, and that you may live long on the earth.
Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
The Lord bless you, and keep you;
The Lord cause His face to shine on you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His face to you,
And give you peace.’
