A coroa dos velhos são os filhos dos filhos. A misericórdia de Deus é de geração em geração sobre os que o temem.
Old people are proud of their grandchildren, and children are proud of their parents.
But the Lord’s trustworthy love lasts for all eternity to those who accept him; his goodness to all generations,
Once I was young, and now I’ve grown old, yet I’ve never seen those who do right abandoned, nor their children having to beg for bread.
Let every generation tell the next all that you do, sharing the stories of your amazing miracles!
For the Lord is good. His trustworthy love lasts forever; his faithfulness continues for all generations.
Força e fidelidade
Mesmo na velhice darão frutos. Os cabelos brancos são coroa de glória. Deus não abandona seus filhos na idade avançada.
Even when they are old they will still produce fruit, staying fresh and green.
They will declare, "The Lord does what is right! He is my rock! There is no wrong in him!"
Gray hair is a glorious crown; it’s achieved by living right.
Even when you’re old, I will still be your God; even when your hair turns white, I will still support you. I made you, I will carry you, I will support you, and I will save you.
Even young people grow weak and tired—they fall down when they’re exhausted. But those who trust in the Lord will have their strength renewed. They will fly high with wings like eagles. They will run and not be tired. They will walk and not be worn out.
Just make sure to be very careful, and really watch what you do, so you don’t forget the things you’ve seen. Keep them in mind as long as you live. Teach them to your children and grandchildren.
