Quem é avô ou avó carrega o peso e a doçura de ver a vida seguir adiante. A Bíblia reconhece essa fase como um tempo de colheita, dignidade e transmissão de fé para as próximas gerações.

Lembra que o orgulho e o afeto pelos netos são um presente de Deus para coroar os anos vividos.

But the mercy of the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] [is] from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children;(Tehillim - Psalms 103:17)

Dá a certeza serena de que a misericórdia de Deus continua acompanhando a família quando as próprias forças não alcançam mais.

I have been young, and [now] am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.(Tehillim - Psalms 37:25)

Traz a tranquilidade de quem olhou a vida toda para trás e pode testemunhar que Deus nunca desamparou os seus.

Mostra o valor único das suas memórias: partilhar o que Deus fez é a herança mais duradoura que você deixa.

For the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] [is] good; his mercy [is] everlasting; and his [endures] to all generations.(Tehillim - Psalms 100:5)

Sustenta o coração na certeza de que a fidelidade que cuidou de você continuará guardando os seus netos.

Força, sabedoria e cuidado na velhice

They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;

To show that the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] [is] upright: [he is] my rock, and [there is] no unrighteousness in him.(Tehillim - Psalms 92:14,15)

Afasta o medo do esquecimento e lembra que a maturidade tem frutos espirituais que nenhuma outra fase da vida pode dar.

The white colored (white or gray with age) head [is] a crown of glory, [if] it be found in the way of righteousness.(Mishlei - Proverbs 16:31)

Devolve a dignidade a cada marca do tempo e a cada cabelo branco vivido na presença de Deus.

And [even] to [your] old age I [am] he; and [even] to grey hairs will I carry [you]: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver [you].(Isaiah 46:4)

Acalma a alma cansada com a promessa de que Aquele que sustentou os seus primeiros passos é o mesmo que o carrega no colo até o fim.

Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:

But they that wait upon the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint.(Isaiah 40:30,31)

Renova o fôlego e a esperança nos dias em que as limitações do corpo parecem pesar mais do que o habitual.

Only take heed to yourself, and keep youi soul diligently, lest youi forget the things which youi eyes have seen, and lest they depart from youi heart all the days of youi life: but teach them youi sons, and youi sons’ sons;(Deuteronomy 4:9)

Confirma que a maior missão dos avós é manter o coração atento e ensinar o caminho aos filhos e aos filhos dos filhos.
