Dia dos avós
Os avós são tesouros vivos de sabedoria e fé. A Bíblia honra os mais velhos e celebra a transmissão de fé entre gerações — dos avós aos netos e destes aos que virão.
A bênção dos avós
A coroa dos velhos são os filhos dos filhos. A misericórdia de Deus é de geração em geração sobre os que o temem.
Children’s children [are] the crown of old men; and the glory of children [are] their fathers.
But the mercy of the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] [is] from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children;
I have been young, and [now] am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
One generation shall praise youi works to another, and shall declare youri mighty acts.
For the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] [is] good; his mercy [is] everlasting; and his [endures] to all generations.
Força e fidelidade
Mesmo na velhice darão frutos. Os cabelos brancos são coroa de glória. Deus não abandona seus filhos na idade avançada.
They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;
To show that the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] [is] upright: [he is] my rock, and [there is] no unrighteousness in him.
The white colored (white or gray with age) head [is] a crown of glory, [if] it be found in the way of righteousness.
And [even] to [your] old age I [am] he; and [even] to grey hairs will I carry [you]: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver [you].
Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
But they that wait upon the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint.
Only take heed to yourself, and keep youi soul diligently, lest youi forget the things which youi eyes have seen, and lest they depart from youi heart all the days of youi life: but teach them youi sons, and youi sons’ sons;
