Dificuldades
God is our refuge and strength,
a helper who is always found
in times of trouble.
Therefore we will not be afraid,
though the earth trembles
and the mountains topple
into the depths of the seas,
though its water roars and foams
and the mountains quake with its turmoil. Selah
I will say concerning the Lord, who is my refuge and my fortress,
my God in whom I trust:
Trust in him at all times, you people;
pour out your hearts before him.
God is our refuge. Selah
The Lord is a refuge for the persecuted,
a refuge in times of trouble.
Those who know your name trust in you
because you have not abandoned
those who seek you, Lord.
You rule the raging sea;
when its waves surge, you still them.
Greater than the roar of a huge torrent —
the mighty breakers of the sea —
the Lord on high is majestic.
He stilled the storm to a whisper,
and the waves of the sea were hushed.
Who can separate us from the love of Christ? Can affliction or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written:
Because of you
we are being put to death all day long;
we are counted as sheep to be slaughtered.,
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Provisão nas dificuldades
O Senhor provê mesmo nos tempos mais difíceis. Ele sustentou Elias, protegeu Israel e cuida dos seus com fidelidade eterna.
The flour jar did not become empty, and the oil jug did not run dry, according to the word of the Lord he had spoken through Elijah.
He spread a cloud as a covering
and gave a fire to light up the night.
They asked, and he brought quail
and satisfied them with bread from heaven.
He opened a rock, and water gushed out;
it flowed like a stream in the desert.
I have been young and now I am old,
yet I have not seen the righteous abandoned
or his children begging for bread.
The Lord watches over the blameless all their days,
and their inheritance will last forever.
They will not be disgraced in times of adversity;
they will be satisfied in days of hunger.
For I will pour water on the thirsty land
and streams on the dry ground;
I will pour out my Spirit on your descendants
and my blessing on your offspring.
For you have been a stronghold for the poor person,
a stronghold for the needy in his distress,
a refuge from storms and a shade from heat.
When the breath of the violent
is like a storm against a wall,
and there will be a shelter for shade from heat by day and a refuge and shelter from storm and rain.
When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you,
and the rivers will not overwhelm you.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be scorched,
and the flame will not burn you.
Força nas provas
Em tudo somos atribulados, mas não esmagados. O Senhor é bom e é fortaleza no dia da angústia — Ele conhce os seus.
We are afflicted in every way but not crushed; we are perplexed but not in despair; we are persecuted but not abandoned; we are struck down but not destroyed.
The Lord is good,
a stronghold in a day of distress;
he cares for those who take refuge in him.
He wraps up the water in his clouds,
yet the clouds do not burst beneath its weight.
He obscures the view of his throne,
spreading his cloud over it.
He laid out the horizon on the surface of the waters
at the boundary between light and darkness.
You will be safe from slander
and not fear destruction when it comes.
He said to them, "Why are you afraid, you of little faith? " Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.
The men were amazed and asked, "What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the sea obey him! "
If that’s how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and thrown into the furnace tomorrow, won’t he do much more for you — you of little faith?So don’t worry, saying, ‘What will we eat? ’ or ‘What will we drink? ’ or ‘What will we wear? ’
The woman fled into the wilderness, where she had a place prepared by God, to be nourished there for 1,260 days.
