Dificuldades
Unto the end, for the sons of Core.
O clap your hands, all ye nations: shout unto God with the voice of Joy,
For the Lord is high, terrible: a great king over all the earth.
It is good to give praise to the Lord: and to sing to thy name, O most High.
Because thou hast been my helper. And I will rejoice under the covert of thy wings:
And he shall judge the world in equity, he shall judge the people in justice.
And the Lord is become a refuge for the poor: a helper in due time in tribulation.
For all our days are spent; and in thy wrath we have fainted away. Our years shall be considered as a spider:
Shall they utter, and speak iniquity: shall all speak who work injustice?
Who then shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation? or distress? or famine? or nakedness? or danger? or persecution? or the sword? (As it is written: For thy sake we are put to death all the day long. We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.) But in all these things we overcome, because of him that hath loved us. For I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor might, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Provisão nas dificuldades
O Senhor provê mesmo nos tempos mais difíceis. Ele sustentou Elias, protegeu Israel e cuida dos seus com fidelidade eterna.
The pot of meal wasted not, and the cruse of oil was not diminished, according to the word of the Lord, which he spoke in the hand of Elias.
And was defiled with their works: and they went aside after their own inventions.
And the Lord was exceedingly angry with his people: and he abhorred his inheritance.
And he delivered them into the hands of the nations: and they that hated them had dominion over them.
For I am ready for scourges: and my sorrow is continually before me.
For I will declare my inequity: and I will think for my sin.
For I will pour out waters upon the thirsty ground, and streams upon the dry land: I will pour out my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thy stock.
Because thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress: a refuge from the whirlwind, a shadow from the heat. For the blast of the mighty is like a whirlwind beating against a wall.
And there shall be a tabernacle for a shade in the daytime from the heat, and for a security and covert from the whirlwind, and from rain.
When thou shalt pass through the waters, I will be with thee, and the rivers shall not cover thee: when thou shalt walk in the fire, thou shalt not be burnt, and the flames shall not burn in thee:
Força nas provas
Em tudo somos atribulados, mas não esmagados. O Senhor é bom e é fortaleza no dia da angústia — Ele conhce os seus.
In all things we suffer tribulation, but are not distressed; we are straitened, but are not destitute; We suffer persecution, but are not forsaken; we are cast down, but we perish not:
The Lord is good and giveth strength in the day of trouble: and knoweth them that hope in him.
He bindeth up the waters in his clouds, so that they break not out and fall down together. He withholdeth the face of his throne, and spreadeth his cloud over it. He hath set bounds about the waters, till light and darkness come to an end.
Thou shalt he hidden from the scourge of the tongue: and thou shalt not fear calamity when it cometh.
And Jesus saith to them: Why are you fearful, O ye of little faith? Then rising up he commanded the winds, and the sea, and there came a great calm. But the men wondered, saying: What manner of man is this, for the winds and the sea obey him?
And if the grass of the field, which is today, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, God doth so clothe: how much more you, O ye of little faith? Be not solicitous therefore, saying, What shall we eat: or what shall we drink, or wherewith shall we be clothed?
And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she had a place prepared by God, that there they should feed her a thousand two hundred sixty days.
Behold, I have given you power to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and upon all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall hurt you.
