Dificuldades
As dificuldades são parte da vida, mas Deus é refúgio certo em todo tempo de angústia. A Bíblia promete que nenhuma adversidade pode separar os filhos de Deus do seu amor.
Deus é refúgio
Deus é nosso refúgio e fortaleza, socorro bem presente nas angústias. Nada poderá nos separar do amor de Cristo.
God is our protection and our strength; always ready to help when troubles come.
So we will not be afraid though the earth shakes, though the mountains fall into the depths of the sea,
though the waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble as the waters surge violently! Selah.
This is what I say about the Lord: "He is the one who defends and protects me. He is my God, and I trust in him."
My people, always trust in him. Pour out all your thoughts to him, for he is the one who looks after us. Selah.
The Lord is a place of safety for those who are oppressed, a fortress in times of trouble.
Those who know your nature trust in you, for you don’t abandon those who come to you.
You rule the restless seas; you calm their stormy waves.
But greater than the most violent ocean, greater than the largest waves of the sea, the greatest is the Lord above.
He calmed the storm, the waves were quiet.
Who can separate us from Christ’s love? Can oppression, distress, or persecution? Or hunger, poverty, danger, or violence? Just as Scripture says, "For your sake we’re in danger of being killed all the time. We’re treated like sheep to be slaughtered." No—in all that happens to us we’re more than conquerors through him who loved us. I’m absolutely convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor devils, neither the present nor the future, nor powers, neither height nor depth, in fact nothing in all creation can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Provisão nas dificuldades
O Senhor provê mesmo nos tempos mais difíceis. Ele sustentou Elias, protegeu Israel e cuida dos seus com fidelidade eterna.
The jar of flour did not become empty and the jug of olive oil did not run out, just as the Lord had said through Elijah.
He spread a cloud above them as a covering, and at night a fire to give them light.
He gave them quails to eat when they asked him; he fed them with the bread of heaven until they were full.
He split the rock open, and water gushed out—a river flowing through the desert.
Once I was young, and now I’ve grown old, yet I’ve never seen those who do right abandoned, nor their children having to beg for bread.
The Lord knows what is happening to the innocent and grants them an eternal inheritance.
They will not be humiliated in bad times; even in days of famine they will have plenty to eat.
For I’m going to pour out water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground. I’m going to pour out my Spirit on your descendants, and my blessing on your children.
But you have protected the poor and needy when they were in trouble, you shielded them from storms and shaded them from the heat. For the actions of brutal people are like rain beating against a wall,
It will provide a place to stay in the shade of the daytime heat, and a shelter to hide from storm and rain.
When you walk through the water, I will be with you; and when you go through the rivers, they won’t flood over you. When you walk through fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you on fire.
Força nas provas
Em tudo somos atribulados, mas não esmagados. O Senhor é bom e é fortaleza no dia da angústia — Ele conhce os seus.
We are attacked from every direction, but we are not crushed. We are at a loss as to what to do, but never in despair. We are persecuted, but never abandoned by God. We are knocked down, but not dead yet!
The Lord is good, a place of safety in a time of trouble. He takes care of those who place their trust in him,
He gathers the rain in his storm clouds which do not break under the weight. He veils his throne; covering it with his clouds. On the surface of the waters he set a boundary; he set a limit dividing light from darkness.
You will be protected from sharp-tongued slander; and when violence comes you will not be afraid.
"Why are you so afraid? Why do you trust so little?" he asked them. Then he got up, and commanded the winds and the waves to stop. Everything became absolutely calm. The disciples were astonished, and said, "Who is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!"
So if God decorates the fields like this, grass which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, won’t he do much more for you, you people who trust so little? So don’t worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’
The woman ran away into the desert, where God had prepared a place for her, so that she could be looked after for 1,260 days.
Yes, I have given you power to tread on snakes and scorpions, and to overcome all the enemy’s strength, and nothing will harm you.
