Perspectiva bíblica
Guardai-vos da avareza. A vida não consiste na abundância de bens. O dinheiro é servo, nunca senhor.
15 And he said to them, Take care to keep yourselves free from the desire for property; for a man's life is not made up of the number of things which he has.
21 For where your wealth is, there will your heart be.
21 His lord said to him, Well done, good and true servant: you have been true in a small thing, I will give you control over great things: take your part in the joy of your lord.

Honra ao Senhor com as tuas primícias. O sábio administra seus recursos com prudência e visão de eternidade.
9 Give honour to the Lord with your wealth, and with the first-fruits of all your increase:
22 The blessing of the Lord gives wealth: hard work makes it no greater.
2 Wealth which comes from sin is of no profit, but righteousness gives salvation from death.
11 Wealth quickly got will become less; but he who gets a store by the work of his hands will have it increased.
16 How much better it is to get wisdom than gold! and to get knowledge is more to be desired than silver.
1 A good name is more to be desired than great wealth, and to be respected is better than silver and gold.
16 Better is a little with the fear of the Lord, than great wealth together with trouble.
22 The ornament of a man is his mercy, and a poor man is better than one who is false.
8 Put far from me all false and foolish things: do not give me great wealth or let me be in need, but give me only enough food:

Quem quer enriquecer cai em tentação. Fuja do amor ao dinheiro e busque contentamento no Senhor.
9 But those who have a desire for wealth are falling into danger, and are taken as in a net by a number of foolish and damaging desires, through which men are overtaken by death and destruction.
17 Give orders to those who have money and goods in this life, not to be lifted up in their minds, or to put their hope in the uncertain chances of wealth, but in God who gives us in full measure all things for our use;
5 Be free from the love of money and pleased with the things which you have; for he himself has said, I will be with you at all times.
4 Wealth is of no profit in the day of wrath, but righteousness keeps a man safe from death.
11 The property of a man of wealth is his strong town, and it is as a high wall in the thoughts of his heart.

De ti vem tudo, e das tuas mãos to damos. Os tributos são devidos — dai a César o que é de César e a Deus o que é de Deus.
14 But who am I and what is my people, that we have power to give so freely in this way? for all things come from you, and what we have given you is yours.
7 Give to all what is their right: taxes to him whose they are, payment to him whose right it is, fear to whom fear, honour to whom honour is to be given.
6 For the same reason, make payment of taxes; because the authority is God's servant, to take care of such things at all times.
16 The little which the good man has is better than the wealth of evil-doers.17 For the arms of the evil-doers will be broken: but the Lord is the support of the good.
14 I have taken as much delight in the way of your unchanging word, as in all wealth.
