But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control; against such things there is no law.

That is why those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ.
For just as all die in Adam, so all will be made alive in Christ. But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, then, at his coming, those who belong to Christ. Then comes the end, when he hands the kingdom over to God the Father, after he has abolished all rule and all authority and power. For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.
