16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is beneficial for teaching, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God may be complete, fully equipped for every good work.

24 "Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them *I will compare to a wise man who built his house on the rock.

16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another with all wisdom as you sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to *the Lord with gratitude in your hearts.

4 For everything that was written in former times was written for our instruction, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures, we might have hope.

17 Elders who lead well should be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in preaching and teaching. 18 For the Scripture says, "Yoʋ shall not muzzle an ox while it is threshing," and, "The worker is worthy of his wages."

16 Avoid profane chatter, for those who engage in such talk will stray further and further into ungodliness, 17 and their message will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus,

9 Everyone who *transgresses and does not abide in the teaching of Christ does not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching *of Christ has both the *Father and the Son.

14 Midway through the feast, Jesus went up to the temple courts and began to teach. 15 The Jews were amazed, saying, "How does this man know so much, when he has never had any formal instruction?" 16 Jesus answered them, "My teaching is not my own; it comes from him who sent me. 17 If anyone wants to do God’s will, he will know whether my teaching comes from God or whether I am speaking on my own authority. 18 He who speaks on his own authority seeks his own glory, but he who seeks the glory of the one who sent him is true, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
