5 My soul, wait thou in silence for God only, for my expectation is from him.

7 Rest in LORD, and wait patiently for him. Fret not thyself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.

9 For evil-doers shall be cut off, but those who wait for LORD, they shall inherit the land.

34 Wait for LORD, and keep his way, and he will exalt thee to inherit the land. When sinners are cut off, thou shall see it.

1 I waited patiently for LORD, and he inclined to me, and heard my cry.

5 I wait for LORD. My soul waits, and in his word do I hope,6 my soul for LORD more than watchmen for the morning, watchmen for the morning.

3 Yea, none who wait for thee shall be put to shame. They shall be put to shame who deal treacherously without cause.

15 For in thee, O LORD, do I hope. Thou will answer, O LORD my God.

14 Wait for LORD. Be strong, and let thy heart take courage. Yea, wait thou for LORD.

31 But those who wait for LORD shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run, and not be weary. They shall walk, and not faint.

2 O LORD, be gracious to us, we have waited for thee. Be thou our arm every morning, also our salvation in the time of trouble.

4 For from of old men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither has the eye seen, O God, besides thee, [what] he has prepared for him who waits for him.

22 Say thou not, I will recompense evil. Wait for LORD, and he will save thee.

7 Be patient therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient for it, until it receives the early and latter rain.8 Be ye also patient. Establish your hearts, because the coming of the Lord has approached.

21 keep yourselves in the love of God, awaiting the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ for eternal life.

20 For our citizenship exists in the heavens, from which also we await a Savior, Lord Jesus Christ,
